The nicest thing about these models is that even though they came out several years ago, they are still being made and are available today for the collectors that are just now entering the hobby. You can't say the same about most European model makers. Good luck with them...
Love it I grew up playing with these.. I had absolutely no interest in superheroes and action figures.. Now I'm 33 and I still love these!

Since the tracks don't seem to be able to oscillate for suspension, are the dozer blades at least capable of tilting side to side?

@Graham Will yup, I've been using InstaFlixxer for since december myself =)
About the only negative I could come up with after watching this review is that it doesn't seem possible to use them as transport loads, as the real machines are shipped in pieces and there doesn't seem to be any provisions for taking the tracks or dozer blades off. Then again, Diecast Masters have always been more about showing the models at work, given that they come with operator figures.
Winchester1979 I really hope they will start producing models that we can take the blade and ripper off and put on a lowboy for a transport pose. I sent them and email asking if they would take it into consideration and they said they would bring it up at next production meeting but who knows how far that will go
@@matthewwillis2389 it would be a nice bonus but i wouldnt expect anything, having a model being capable of being broken down for transport is of no benefit to Caterpillar and what they want as a model displaying one of their machines, DM have listened to collectors regarding the choice to have the operator in or out and fair play to them they've incorporated a removable roof, so there could be a small chance
and the review of the First Gear Komatsu D475A-5EO ? does it arrive or does it not arrive?

The new Die-cast Masters model is some what smaller than the old Model
Greg Rossler I have a norscot d11 and it seems like a giant compared to the diecast masters.
I bought the DM 85604, D11 TKN design dozer 1:50, High Line series. Nice details, but I am disappointed becouse of the plastic tracks. I expect metal tracks.
The DM 85604 reviewed had metal tracks. If you bought it privately maybe the tracks were swapped out?
@@CranesEtcTV no, I bought the model from an official shop. And the box was originally sealed.
