@@_.howie._ Ummm, what the hell are you talking about?? My comment was about Nichols, not Best. FFS.
@@Cosmo-KramerI doubt thats the reason. They probably had a situation where it wouldve been mich better to do the gigs in stead of wait. there could have been other factors. Certainly not being selfish and not caring about their drummer
@@buschovski1 Of course there were other factors. The point is, had it been John or Paul out sick, they would've postponed the tour. Probably even if it had been George. But definitely had it been either one of the big two.
As soon as Jimmy talks hes sounds like a very cool guy
But out of place.
jimmie would later say he wish it wouldnt have happened
That was a moment of weakness. 😢 He is a top notch professional who entered the world's best band on such a short notice and helped them out.
How come?
Jimmie reminds me of Bill Murray as Todd from SNL.
where was Ringo??
He was taken ill with tonsillitis. That’s why Jimmy Nichol had subbed for Ringo.
Playing with Led Zeppelin.
After seeing Jimmie I don't think anyone cared
Dead and buried
More like Yardbirds, Zep not formed yet@@leonardoiglesias2394
George going on about the definition of the word beatle…😫. *B**-E-**E**-T-*- then. -*-B-**E**-A-**T*
Jimmy was THE Greatest Beatle
He is the reason I listened to the Beatles
Jimmy introduced them to picking their nose fishing out a nice green one rolling it between their fingers and then casually flicking it away this behavior had a calming effect upon them @@attila7092
why's that?
2 new Beatles here: John Leopard and Jimmy Nicols.
Weird how George looks like 80s George.
I CANT THEYRE SO FUNNY
I wonder if they considered asking Pete to fill in before they picked Jimmie
Doubt it mate
At least Jimmy eventually stopped slapping the table...but his outbursts of hilarity are a bit startling.
That said, his drumming was pretty sound.
Some people have weird laughs
john casually making gay jokes gives me life 5:26
No big band! He said!! Omg
What stupid questions... The Lads were Charming!
Jimmy was only a temp beatle, only a couple of weeks, just a stand in, he did ok though.
⚡🙏
The band needed a goofball, but Nichol was too much.
John Leopard?
I think he says "John Leper", as a bad taste joke.

Poor Jimmy
Like a typical Gemini check out Paul's eyes @ body language when Jimmy answers about temporary replacing ringo.
I re-watched it. I don't know any Geminis well. What was Paul doing while Jimmy was speaking that seemed typical of a Gemini to you?
As Jimmie speaks, Paul Slightly turns his head, his smile @ eyes R Sly @ mercurial, a trait typical Of many Gemini persons, as he looks at Jimmie. You'd have 2 b n2 Astrology 2 understand.
@@dannyboyd9462 I am into astrology, that's why I asked. I just have never known a Gemini well. I thought you were gonna to suggest what Paul was thinking in those moments. What do his stars say he was thinking as he observed Jimmy's responses?
@@Cosmo-KramerIt's complex 2 pinpoint the mind of a Gemini at a single moment. They're the most chamilion@mentally changeable sign of the Zodiac. Whatever Sir Paul was thinking, In seconds it changed from nice to cunning to hiding to serious to Sly then adjusted to laughing. Gemini's can adapt 2 anything@anyone easy.
@@dannyboyd9462 Now that I think of it, I did know one, just for about 6 months. I guess I blocked her from my memory because she was batshit crazy. She actually prided herself on being capricious, and obviously, was a serial liar. Paul is also a serial liar. And backstabber. True to his sign, the twins, he has a split personality. I actually can't stand him. lol
John is so rough with Paul, it’s good, it’s good, hm mmm mm…
Ringo the Vulcan.
Ringo was hospitalized..Nichols is trying to fit in but it’s awkward …his15 min of fame on a few dates filling in for Ringo ..
What happened to Jimmy , there’s not much information … it’s like he just disappeared.. ?
There was a book about him called 'The Beatle That Vanished', came out in 2013.
watch ‘the sad story of jimmy nicol’ by parlagram. It explains his whole story
The ironic thing is that Ringo probably would have been just as quiet had he been here instead of Jimmy.
Pete would've been more reserved, polite, too. Nothing wrong with that. Where is it written that every member of a band has to be a smart-aleck?
@@Cosmo-Kramer My comment was not an opinion or any kind of view what I stated was a fact.
@@rossdelain1645 No, your comment was absolutely not a statement of fact. It was a speculation, a prediction. And not even a confident pmr because you qualified it with the word, "probably".

Paul's answer to the last question is very telling.....I just leave it there.
Does it have something to do with paul's death? We will never know.

Odd! The spelling of Jimmie's name is the same as a girl I knew. Dudes went by Jimmy here in the U.S. Perhaps in the U.K., even the masculine spelling ends in (ie).🤔
Jimmy Nic is the inspiration for the song - “Sgt. Pepper”
thought Pepper was Crowely?
And Billy Pepper and the Pepperpots?
He is inspiration to Getting Better. That was his phrase to guestion, what he thinks gigging with The Beatles.
Good to see and hear the real Paul and not that hard long faced Faul , his character , expressions and soul are so different here , God bless his soul
Become a musician and you will see you are wrong. Paul is Paul. The 1960s recording equipment was poor and explains a lot.
BACK IN THE NEW TESTAMENT by APOLOGETIX a great Beatles parody
I think Jimmie had a lot in common with Brian Epstein

The real Paul! He was great!
Loved real Paul
hmm ok
George’s face got longer after this time too but nobody claims he got replaced. Crazy take: Paul aged
In all honesty, I'm surprised nobody came up with the claim that John was maybe replaced.
The difference in his 1962 and 1969 self was WAY more than the other Beatles.
