The ACOTAR series is great, but I like the Throne of Glass series more! I’d definitely recommend it, and I’d also recommend the Six of Crows series! It’s equal to me with Throne of Glass, and the found family vibe is great :) the sense of adventure and their comradery is so fun to read, and twists and turns are so interesting! Once you get through the shadow and bone series I’d love to hear your thoughts on Six of crows :)
April was such a busy month for me - work wise, school, events, trips and birthdays (very enjoyable but) i only got to read 2 book which I found really devastating but I have no big events planned in May so I am very excited to pick up more books
hey rachel, i normally dont comment on your videos. Especially old ones but I loved this one! ive been struggling a bit lately but reading has been a passion for me
Without Merit, was such a good book! I was gifted it and told it wasn't great, so I had low expectations, and it was very strange at the start I didn't know what to expect... But the last few chapters everything came together and the message was really beautiful so would recommend ☺️ Love your jumper btw ❤️
thank you for giving credit to ACOTAR, i read the first book and no where did the smut stand out to me as one of the most important or best things. she made the plot and characters so amazing
i absolutely love your book videos rach!! April was not the best reading month for me, however i’m keen to read more this May 💗💗 Would you be able to do a video about your favourite active wear?
I think A Court of Silver Flames will become you fave in the series when you finish it!!! Can't wait for you to meet all the new badass characters in that one!
I also had a great reading month :) I read the whole Crule Prince series, plus the first and second book of the Grishaverse :) And right now I'm rereading ACOTAR and I'm so happy to hear that you loved ACOMAF
i haven't read any of cassandra clare's books... should i? i watched the show, and i liked the world/story, so i assume i'd love the books. there's just so many, so i'm not sure if it's worth diving into
@@rosyellowbird i’ve honestly not read the mortal instruments because like you said, there’s so many books. the infernal devices is set in the same world but is a stand alone trilogy
The books are quite different to the show but it’s the same world so you’d still really enjoy it! A lot of people prefer the infernal devices or her more recent series (in the same world) since she wrote mortal instruments first but they’re an easy & enjoyable read!
I so agree with your review of the acotar series. It does have smut but lord it is so much bloody more. Love love sarah j maas’ books with my whole heart
Honestly, I love acotar so so so much! I think you will love Throne of Glass a lot. It has so much foreshadowing I love it so much. The attention to detail is amazing a lot more than acotar you might want to put down the first book and never pick it up because it's so much world-building but by the end, i think you will love it.
I picked up love at first sprite after seeing it in one of your videos when you got it. I went a couple days later to big w and read it within a week. I loved it but it was also really cliche in some good abs bad ways. I love the whole idea of the book though & I really was connected to Dani’s character and the relationships she had with the other characters. I rated it a 4 star. I’m currently reading Ugly Love & I’m struggling to get into it to be honest. I do still want to pick up where I left it, I just gotta find the right motivation abs give it the time of day. I also like when reading books that when your reading the story, you’re imagining what’s happening, what the characters look like, the settings etc and for me personally it takes away from thinking about my own thoughts going on in my head. You’ve really inspired me to read books and I hope I can get out of the schlump I’m in at the moment 🤍
I read Without Merit right after it came out since I went to the book signing. I loved it and was later surprised how many negative reviews there were. I can see people thinking it's odd, but it's also got some important messages. To each his own though. I've been reading The Law of Moses by Amy Harmon and wow it's emotional and so layered. It's a romance and tells you up front that it doesn't end well, but it's the journey that it takes you on.
April was such a good reading month for me too and it was also my birthday month. 🎂 I also got a kindle for my birthday! How good is it. If you loved ACOTAR, you'll love These Hollow Vows 😊
Read Meet me in paradise by Libby hubscher!!! Its romance but it has mystery in it. The cover of the book looks like its a happy book but do not judge the book by the cover!!! Its one of my all time favorites now and I feel like you would love it so much!!!
Convenience store woman sounds so interesting, I need to pick that one up! I'm dying to read ACOTAR, I'm slowly branching out to join you as a fantasy girly too haha! I'm hoping to get back into the red queen series (which is another fantasy). Also ahhhhh I wanna read things we never got over so bad, I just love a good small town romance 🥰🥰 but the physical copy is so expensive 😭😭 I'm low key hoping big w start selling it soon lol!
The rest of the Grip series (Grip and Still) by Kennedy Ryan is amazing. I would highly recommend it. I also wasn't a fan of Flow when I first read it and I only continued reading because I had the book and I had nothing else to do, but I am so glad I did because it is really really good. The last book is one of my favourites.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first book in the acotar series but I absolutely loved the second book, it was a lot better than the first one in my opinion
If you love books about the problem of evil from a loving God, read The Man Who Was Thursday by GK Chesterton!! It's a great book about it and is just amazing writing!!
i have never seen love at first sight! it sounds like such a cute, fun book! i honestly doubt it will be my fave but im willing to give it a read! the fact that the main character is an interior designer who just ditched her ex fiancé’s house ?! stop, im sold! not a fan of these themes or story in general but i think im needing the drama about now haha 😗 btw, the sweater caught my attention! do you have a link (or an affiliate link) for this? 😬🤍
Congrats to you on your reading for the last month of April tbr on your reading 12 books 📚 for the last month wishing I could say the same as I started reading six books 📚 last month and I finished zero books 📚 as I am really struggling with my mental health issues so congrats to you please stay safe and enjoy your reading 📖 love your family friend John xxx
Your going to have to skip over every other chapter in ACOSF to skip the spice. Ugh it’s was too much but definitely read it the actual plot was amazing

"Im not the biggest fantasy reader" oh how times have changed!!!! 😊
thank you for giving credit to ACOTAR, i read the first book and no where did the smut stand out to me as one of the most important or best things. she made the plot and characters so amazing

“TᕼE ᒪᗩᗪY Oᖴ ᕼEᗩᐯEᑎ TᖇᗩIᒪEᖇ”❤️
i think you’d like the infernal devices series by cassandra clare, it’s really plot heavy and the romance takes the whole trilogy to evolve
i haven't read any of cassandra clare's books... should i? i watched the show, and i liked the world/story, so i assume i'd love the books. there's just so many, so i'm not sure if it's worth diving into

Loved this wrap up just like all your other vids!! I’m looking forward to reading things we never got over this month - also on my kindle :)
If you like books where the couple gets together at the end you should check out Mariana Zapata! All her books are slow burns, like really slow 😅

Have you read anything by Josie Silver? Highly recommend if not!
Omg where is your shirt from? Obsessed!
