That's more like your personal preferences when it comes to the camera's settings rather than what everyone should change but still, thanks for pointing out some things that I hadn't noticed.

I have set camera settings for max stabilization & fps videos,I like more smooth but 1080p videos than 4K but shaking + it also doesn't take much storage,Also for photos I've set to 1080p because for me it's enough,usually I use it only for taking pictures of objects & documents
You can actually see LESS with taking pictures in 16:9 as it CROPS a 4:3 image to make it 16:9.
That's why i ALWAYS take photo's in 4:3, so it gives you more of the scene to work with.

@@Filmmaker809 dude do it yourself lol....take a pic of 4:3 and do the same with 9:16 with the same angle.... you will see there are more captured venues in 4:3 than 9:16.... can't believe someone has ti actually tell you that... most prefer 4:3 due to wider images captured

Have you ever made a video on how to import Outlook contacts into a Samsung phone? If you just use the Outlook app for Calendar and Email, contacts aren't in your phone for texting or calling. I think such a video would be helpful.

You don't "see more" with 9:16 over 3:4 though.. 9:16 simply crops out info from 3:4. I personally shoot in 3:4 then crop in post to 16:9 or 21:9.

What size do you choose for front camera video settings? I know you mentioned the rear video size setting, but I what about the front video size resolution?

So the settings are "less" compared to the s9? As I also use one, but I'll continue to use my actual camera, because when are sammy and apple going to release that phone cameras aren't and never will be as good as the real thing? I would like to see some of these tech TH-camrs collab with photographers and show people that your s23 ultra or your 13 pro will never be and never will be the real thing. I reckon photographers probably despise these ultra and pros. Also that fact that Samsung showed short movies being made with the ultra, don't exactly convince me to switch out my real camera for one. Although my opinion on the short movies shown during unpacked, were kind of a bit too gory and a bit violent... Would love to know what these short movies are rated, I bet that "faith" movie would probably be rated "MA15+" here (in Australia)

Using anything but 3:4 doesn't use the full sensor. Also, why manually set the camera to record video in 4K or 8K (

Hi Jimmy! Thanks for the video! When I tried to set my Rear Video Size to UHD 3840 by 160 (30 fps), 16:9, I cannot opt for the video stabilisation option. However, when I reduce the size to FHD 1920 by 1080 (30 fps), stabilisation works. The problem is the screen appears a bit more grainy when I use the latter resolution, although the videos are much more stable in this case. Is there a way to work around with this?

Samsung M51. Settings like Rear & Front camera Video size and resolution, Camera photo size and resolution etc. are not there in the camera settings menu after android latest update. What is the solution.

What if you don't have an "intelligent feature" section in your camera settings? I've reset the settings multiple times and nothing pops up. I can't scan QR codes. It doesn't give me that option.
anyone else have the galaxy a51? the front camera seems to be really laggy. i tried it on snapchat, instagram & the built in camera app on the phone and it all seems to be laggy. is there a fix for this?

I'm trying to get a clear photo for business & the auto click in the business only gives me2-3 sec and my A50 takes 4-5 so I am trying everything to get the focus to work faster. Sounds like I am not going get it?
4:3 is the full image sensor so if you put it to 16:9 it just crops it and doesn't use the full image sensor leaving you with less image quality because it isn't even using all the megapixels

9:16 for video sure but 3:4 photos doesn't crop. Other aspect ratios crop the edges..

This is great, but why don't all the phones have the same things? Mine doesn't have everything yours does... (I'm in Canada) I have most of the photo options you show here, but many of them are not adjustable at all. :( Feel a little ripped off, ha. And i'm wondering, how do you take a selfie and show your palm at the same time? I'll have to try that. Just assumed it has to be fast, otherwise the palm will obstruct the face, haha. Thanks.

You can go to settings and turn off adaptive brightness

How does one turn off single take ready to capture? Don't know how it was turned on my phone. At the top of my phone in the tool bar it's always there with a circle and changing numbers. Have know idea what the numbers mean. Numbers change every day.

I willingly switched from iphone to android and feel like the S20 photos are blurry and look weird. It almost feels like there is a face smoothing setting enabled, but I didn't see anything mentioned in this video. I went ahead and copied these settings anyhow.
I know this is late, but I have an s20 FE. Coming from the LG G8, I noticed the annoying face smoothing effect too. It really ruins the details. I adjusted every available setting and cannot get it to be sharper. The only workarounds I've found are porting the Google Camera app OR getting video captures from recorder videos (which oddly show more details than taking a simple photo). Very odd that we simply cannot disable the smoothing effects.
I need help my back camera of Samsung a70 is wavy when I move it like there's waves everytime I move my phone while filming
This does not work at all on the Samsung app for the A12. The video settings are limited at best. The still photos have practically no setting beyond aspect ratio. 48 MP is too much, and does everyone a disservice to take away the option to use a lower setting, as compared to my older Samsung S8+ which really worked great but the battery on it consumes so much power and the USB connection has become tricky over the years. I thought the A12 would be a good replacement, but experience says otherwise.
I hope Samsung will update its camera app, to allow for lower resolution photos. Just making changes in the Gallery App, is not exactly the best solution, as it is far too time-consuming, and not particularly suitable or fit for purpose.
