These camera tips and tricks apply to just about any galaxy phone such as Note 20 Ultra, S20 Ultra, A71, A51, S10, Note 10, etc and many more.

How about going through the different modes of picture taking to show what they are good for and what the difference is?
The tracking focus is a good feature, but you should disable it in low lighting conditions, because then you cannot reduce the unnecessary artificial light with the normal exposure slider that's present in the camera app.

As usual...good stuff. Some of these functions were introduced on earlier Note models, but we tend to forget that they are still available.

What can you say about the Note 20 ultra after one year of usage? I'm considering getting one too.
@@aginajoseph341 I love my Note 20! Still the best phone I've ever owned. If I was buying new today I would probably get an S22 Ultra instead, but if you can get a Note20 for a good discount, I still highly recommend it.
1. Interesting. But enabling Tracking Autofocus turns off Video Stabilization, at least, it does that with my Galaxy S10+ with Android 10+One UI 2.5. (It seems to be device or operating system dependent, as from reading the comments, it seems some folks can have both enabled)
2. Location tag sounds pretty cool! I honestly never bothered to use it...especially since for whatever reason, it's not exactly accurate despite location settings being set to high accuracy. And I still have to go into the details of each picture to see the location info. 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
3. Grid lines? This seems like a thing that really should've been around from the start.
4. Voice control seems okay... doesn't seem like a feature I would use right now, but it definitely has its uses.
5. Edit the buttons? Nice.

Please have in mind that whenever tracking auto focus is on the video stabilizer will be off. Both cannot work simultaneously

I do not have "Show date & location info" as an option in settings? I am using a Note 20 Ultra on AT&T. BTW I AM able to have stabilisation & tracking auto-focus both enabled at the same time.
@@sherriworley915 I'm running UI 2.5 maybe that's the reason. You should be on UI 3.0 Please confirm.

A caviat with the auto focus is you cannot use it on 8k mode and neither on 60fps (UHD). Took me a minute or so to find out why my auto focus was grayed out and couldn't be toggle on. I usually record on 60fps.

Thanks for the video . I have one question when I slow down the video in edit then add a soundtrack the soundtrack plays at slow speed also. Is there a way to get it to play at normal speed while the video plays slow.? Thank you. Mike.

yes exactly , plus my galaxy s20 + , wont show date but it will show location wierd ..

Thanks for your very good video presentations. Is it possible to lock in photo and video settings which compensate for Samsung tendency to over saturate colours and blow highlights, or does it have to be necessary to make the same adjustment very time you photo or video. Than you.

Turning on the ability to take a picture by saying cheese or capture was one of the first things I did. I would like to turn on the feature you mentioned for displaying the date in the photo gallery but my settings menu looks different. I just got the phone last weekend and it got a software update 2 days later. I think that has caused me some problems getting some things set up correctly. All the videos I have found so far seem to be for the previous software version. I'm going to go search specifically for videos on One UI 4.0. Wish me luck

Thank you so mush for your amazing video it was really helpfull..is there a part 2 for it or not yet.. anyway i just have a question if you please to answer..i have a52s but with 64mp camera but what im noticing and getting confused about is when taking a 3:4 regular photo the details and the resolution are so clear and good but when taking the same 3:4 photo but with 64mp feature even tho the size of the picture is bigger but i clearlly noticed that the 64mp picture has a lot less details and even blury or wiped out if you want...like there is missed details..so my question is why is that happening it should be the exact opposite do you have any explanation for this ?

Hi saki, the track autofocus along with few other options under settings are not highlighted and its not allowing to edit few of the settings. Need a complete detailed tutorial kind a video on samsung camera settings.
Go into camera settings and click reset camera settings. And then it will let you
Hi Saki, when taking a photo, and then editing it and saving it, it doesn't save the edited version as a copy, immediately getting rid of the original to replace it with. My phone has initially told me how to enable an option called save copy, but, I can't find it anywhere. Where do I find the save copy option? Because that is also an important useful feature that Samsung disabled by default for some reason.

I have a question about how to set the video to 4K 30/60 fps. I thought I was recording in 4K 30fps. But, when uploaded it to You Tube, it only came out at 1080p. Is it because it was set to 1:1, 3:9 or do I have to set it to 16:9 or FULL? Thanks brother.

Amazing video. Love all the information you provided. Wondering if you hv any suggestions for an issue I am having. Pictures I take and post on the internet are blurry when zoomed into. I cannot always use my professional camera cause its too much editing. I enjoy using my S21 but the pictures are too large and require sizing. Once sized they are blurry.

Just one thing, if you enable Tracking auto focus it does turn off video stabilization.
And i think you need to be in the 30 fps mode for it.
So i only enable it if i really need it.
I Have A Galaxy s20 5G With T-Mobile.. And Also I Have The 3.0 Software Update.. Plus I Also Have Tracking Auto Focus & Video Stabilization Both Turned On At The Same Freaking Time.!! 🤗🤗

It's always interesting that with all these tutorials when you try to do it the feature is never able to turn on manufacturers control but these videos can do it...
Im not sure it is good way to asking here but i have no any possibility to open any camera settings picture or video is no difference. At this moment when I push the settings it's jump short in but after less as 1 sec. It's jump self to main camera view. I remember that issue is con ectet directly with a other display cha ging what I did in the past but I not remember any more with was that . Maybe you can give my any idea 💡... how to ... thx and regards
Why do I not have the show location and date options. Is it because recent update removed that?
Funny that I haven’t got the location tag on my s20 ultra but I have on my note 8. The gallery on my note 8 looks different being an older version and it looks like yours but the s20 ultra looks different. Is it the app version that is the issue

My gallery settings option only says "Show Place Names" but does not show place names on a photo (yes I have location on and it does tag the photo with a location) because when I open a picture, it shows thumbnails of all the pictures before and after it across the bottom in a filmstrip. And I don't see a setting that can change that.
Can you tell me how to take series of pictures? I have Samsung M51 and I don't seem to have such an option, as pressing on focus and holding on makes my camera shot a video instead of taking a few pics, as in other Samsung phones of my friends.
My auto-trac feature under video is grayed out. I tried turning off and on other settings to see if I could enable. Unfortunately not. I wonder if my device being unlocked thru Google Fi has anything to do with it. 🤔

Unfortunately the A12 does not see to have that auto focus tracking feature in it, i cannot find it if it does?
it seems like you might need one ui 3.0 for some of these, is that right, i have galaxy a31 on one ui 2.1

I've got a Samsung s10 plus and I recently installed android 11.
Now when I edit my photos abd transfer them on my windows 10 pc they won't open up.
This only happens if they have been edited on the samsung photo editor.
I collect hot wheels and other brand diecasts, this tip is valuable for me.

Is it normal for a samsung camera to give a raster of squares on the sun? And only in the sun, not the area around it. Also industrial structure I've seen after editing the color of a blue sky. Is this my lense or inside of my camera that I see?
View Motion Photo is an "old" feature I miss in my new Z Fold 2. When I had my S10+ it would capture a very small video right before each photo I would take but I first lost than feature back when I upgraded to my S20+.
