@@stevehinkley9099 I’m bringing the rig into the driveline shop tomorrow for them to check things out as there is still a slight vibration. If it ends up being something they can fix then they’ll start selling it, if not, I’ll need to talk to another shop to see if they can build a 1350 cardan yoke for the axle side at least.
Honestly your dong great work looking at how we can modify the truck, after I put few more miles and get though winter on my truck I am looking to load out metal clock and some new shocks, I would forget out negative comments on the forum, really it is starting to be more bitch and moan site with people not interested in solving issue just complaining., Again it great to see your videos on suspension, drive shafts and shocks upgrades.
@@GregoryStoner I appreciate that brother! Just trying to be helpful and have fun as well. Thanks for the support and kind words, looking forward to see how your build comes along!
Nice job! Hopefully you’ve got a professional 4x4 shop with their own alignment equipment nearby with a person trained to handle this? No way a local basic tire shop is going to be able to work with all those adjustment points as it’s going to be a very tedious process to get axle location fore/aft/left/right plus thrust angles/caster and toe setup right. It’s hard enough to get a shop to do much more than set toe even then it’s usually wrong and your steering wheel is still off-center.
@@C-Mack1972 exactly! There are a few around, but really all I need is the printout for baseline so I can adjust myself if they won’t. It usually takes 2-3 goes to get it close to perfect, even if they do it themselves. We’ll see though, fingers crossed! 🤞
@@RogerCampillo I’m sure you could get them over there, likely costly though due to shipping. I only swapped out the front thus far, not overly concerned with the rear yet but will eventually address it!
@@TheDigitalPictureGC steers better but I haven’t installed the rears yet or gotten it professionally aligned, that comes today! I still have the factory stabilizer and am fine with it, I may likely upgrade at a later time though! 🤙🤙
Where can i get this Kardan / drive shaft ? I already had 1 broken and it destroyed the transmission …that was horrible on our holidays… I only got 40mm higher springs and bigger wheels…maybe that was to much for the original….
@@marcoweiland90 this was custom built by Drivelines Inc. in mission Viejo, ca. We’re still trying to dial in the pinion to see if we can get the harmonics completely gone, he doesn’t seem to want to sell them unless we can. The driveshaft failure could be either from too much caster or from improper install damaging the boot. I changed it as soon as I could to avoid what you unfortunately went through. That’s brutal! 😫😫😫
Outrageous prices. Paying for Seller’s lifestyle, not the product. An AG-34 on 49’s is 40k. An overlander on portals, 52’s from Ursa Motors or a Sadko Next is 55k. Fully geared. Oh, and a 49 inch tyre costs 65$.
@ AG-34 is a tactical pickup made by the inventor of Sherp ATV, Alexei Garagashian. URSA is a Russian Manufacturer. With the cost of an Ineos you could buy two. And it’s about resource. Ineos is designed for the effort of 31 tyres. AG-34 is basically an 9 ton truck made as a 3 ton pickup. Annually Operating Cost being like 400$

Awesome, when will the front driveshaft be available?

Regarding the propshafts, have you changed both or only the front one?

Awesome work. How’s the steering now after you dialed it in? Have you installed a different steering stabilizer yet too?
