It infuriates me that Jenn has always been so selfish, playing the victim and using her mental health to be so weak. I know plenty of people who live with bipolar, depression, anxiety who work hard to push past it and live a productive life while protecting their children. They don’t just take drugs that blunt them and hide their head in the sand
You've got that right. I'm a Mom with PTSD, post partum depression, and anxiety and I have chosen a combination of therapy, diet, exercise, and minimal medication to handle my symptoms. My son's safety, health, and happiness always comes first. I'm lucky enough to be a SAHM and I make sure that my son eats healthy, has play dates with his cousins, goes to the playground, and the public library every week. My son is showered with love, attention, and affection from both of his parents. Medication cannot solve mental health issues all by itself. It takes therapy to overcome the trauma along with exercise and having a purpose. My purpose is to be the best Mom that I can to my son so he can live a happy and healthy life. I am also an alcoholic and I've been sober for almost 5 years. IMO Jenn uses medication to spend her time sleeping instead of trying to heal her trauma through therapy. It's a lot easier to hide from your trauma than it is to face it and do the work to heal from it. I'm not a mental health professional and I am only speaking from my personal experience.

Maybe Madelin & Jenn’s relationship was rocky because Madelin had tried, more than once, telling her what he was doing., instead of believing her as a good mother should she turned on her threatened to send her away to her dad. Can you cite the statute that makes it illegal to sleep in the same bed with a minor? From a legal perspective, they cannot charge her with a crime that does not exist. Even so, CPS could have removed her from the home if they had known what was going on.

I know plenty of people who live with bipolar, depression, anxiety who work hard to push past it and live a productive life while protecting their children. You've got that right. I'm a Mom with PTSD, post partum depression, and anxiety and I have chosen a combination of therapy, diet, exercise, and minimal medication to handle my symptoms. My son's safety, health, and happiness always comes first. I'm lucky enough to be a SAHM and I make sure that my son eats healthy, has play dates with his cousins, goes to the playground, and the public library every week. My son is showered with love, attention, and affection from both of his parents. Medication cannot solve mental health issues all by itself. It takes therapy to overcome the trauma along with exercise and having a purpose. My purpose is to be the best Mom that I can to my son so he can live a happy and healthy life. I am also an alcoholic and I've been sober for almost 5 years. IMO Jenn uses medication to spend her time sleeping instead of trying to heal her trauma through therapy. It's a lot easier to hide from your trauma than it is to face it and do the work to heal from it. I'm not a mental health professional and I am only speaking from my personal experience.

What the hell did Jennifer Soto even get from that relationship? Sterns spent no money on them, in fact he was a drain on their family resources, and was even suspected of stealing from them, eg Maddie's birthday cash (he made a habit of this, he stole money and jewellery from his parents too). Jennifer obviously didn't even want to sleep with him - she pushed that chore onto her innocent child.
She's obviously one of those pathetic women who must have a boyfriend at any cost, for appearance's sake. She can't bear to be single for 2 minutes, even when being single is a far better option than dating a man who is not only a creepy misfit and loser, but is abusing and endangering your child!

The mom was so desperate to have a man in the house, she offered him a package deal any bum couldn’t refuse; free food, board and room, bunk with her daughter and when mom’s too tired for sex, she offered up her daughter! Look at that child’s birthday picture! That is not a pose a thirteen year old would make! The mom ain’t fooling anybody - she was totally aware and condoned it all! In fact, other relatives had to question this setup she had at home and his character had to be questioned by her family! Betcha Madeline died because Madeline (may have?!?) said, “No more! Leave me alone!” Odd that the public never saw any interviews detectives would have had with teachers or her classmates?!? “Someone” had to have known something about her home/personal life. A tragic sad story! Jen and her shack-up perv lover should both rot in jail!

The fact that he really thought the “ah, shucks, stupid me accidentally factory reset my phone… I just saw a button and I clicked the button. Poor me, I guess!” excuse would actually work is so mind numbingly idiotic it’s hard for me to even believe someone would genuinely try to use it. He’d have been better off physically destroying it, discarding it, and saying “I don’t know, I’ve been so frantic lately I just don’t know where I left it.” Still a bad excuse, but better than the factory reset. Anyone who knows anything about modern smart phones, or anyone who’s ever sold a phone, knows there’s no “oops, factory reset!” anymore. There’s minimum two pop ups asking “ARE YOU REALLY SURE YOU WANT TO WIPE EVERYTHING?” popups, maybe even a “enter your password to verify you’re serious” popup to prevent accidental wiping of devices. Everything about that loser, from his idiotic excuses to his stupid sad sack whiney voice, just makes me mad.

Yesterday, I watched an exFBI undercover agent being interviewed. He was investigating [[NAMBLA]]. He said single moms were always groomed first. Then, they move on to the child.
JS meeting SS was the perfect storm.

She knew my daughter wasn't the first and she was allowed to continue babysitting. Smh He died 10 years back I read in the paper. She should of been charged She knew. This girl suffered the worst abuse. What loving mother tells her young daughter to go sleep in another bed with her boyfriend? What a tragedy. I’m so sorry that this lovely child had to endure time on earth with these two awful people.
