Could you explain how in the first 0:35 - 0:50 the chords are formed, like how do they form, i've learnt the basis of the "chord roadmap" and the formula but not sure how other chords fit in

sure! i'm not entirely understanding what you're asking for though. Could you elaborate? at 02:13 you'll see some diagrams of those same chords.
