One of the best live bands I have ever seen. They are incredible. And their album 'The suburbs' is a true masterpiece.
'Funeral' is their actual masterpiece.
Funeral, Neon Bible and The Suburbs are all masterpieces, whilst Reflektor is brilliant. The less said about Everything Now the better!
@@lenshayler9570 everything now has two good songs!
Everything Now took time for me to appreciate but I like that they progress with their musical styles.
Neon Bible for me!
I Graduated from Rehab to this Song 7 years later I’m still Clean loving life 👍
Good on ya brother!
Well done Mitchell! Keep it up! :) ❤
Congrats, Mitchel!! God bless you always.
I'm so proud of you
Congratulations man, this song is special.
Literally crying with this. I need fucking festivals again.
Oh my God me too!! I was just watching Bowie do this with them and I started to sob.
They are taking EVERYTHING FROM US.
Now I’m mad again...
@@hogfarts1661 NS!! EVERYTHING!! That bears any feeling, Emotions
What Music is all about! 🤘🏼🙁
EVERYTHING!!!!
hard times
Meds.
why didn't this one win the grammy, this is my favorite arcade fire song it's the most intricate of their songs it changes melody and tune several times, and it's so freaking beautiful
Exactly

I am 62. I have just woke up to Arcade Fire. They have it all.
Me to.And I'm 68. But I'll let the young people have them.
60!
63 I can still love great music , makes me wish I was 23 and going to Glastonbury. Outstanding joy and positivity. I love ❤️ it
Just be 63 and go to Glastonbury and enjoy
They Are a good Canadian band
My friend took me to their concert back in 2017. I had never really heard much about them but she had an extra ticket. Best night of my life
It’s amazing how Regine is enjoying every moment of this song
She seems to be just a enthusiastic person, always smiling.
She’s a goddess !
The genius behind Arcade Fire is that they were born to be a live band. The fact that they all sing together on almost every single one of their songs shows that they’re just absolutely chuffed to be there and the Oh Oh parts are a great way to get the crowd to sing along.
This song seems to encapsulate my current inner feelings of sadness at the realisation that my youth is over and I must grow up. It somehow turns that in to a momentary feeling of celebration. The perfect festival song.
You and me both my friend 🙏
Maybe you mustn't?
Youth ends but we must never grow up, make that the last bloody thing you do
the same as me
How old are you?
One of the masterpieces of the 21st century, I'm serious
This is without a doubt the the pinnacle of rock music. Watch and listen to this a few times and you might be left crying.
Catchy song with soul and lyrics... But, I have my doubts...
This beats covid everytime.
Pure joy.
I love Regine's beautiful smiley face.
That's a lie, a scurrilous lie... goodbye!
She's got a cute butt too!
shes so sweet looking
so does he as he empties
makes me cry..either depressed or over wealmed by the beauty of it.
Funny I have the exact same reaction overwhelmed by the extaordinary beauty of it all
idk why but I get goosebumps when I hear that crowd roaring in unison.
at 67 yrs old i am getting chills! superb
keep on rockin! -always! 🍷🥂🍷🥂🍷
i am 60 but the only thing that will stop me is if my ears go .. i will still hum this classic
It's not a matter of age or experience. It's a matter of souls
I have had the privilege of living this masterpiece twice live!
This is a perfect live song. And that bit at 4:00 when the song shifts... it's such a burst of positive energy, you can't help but to jump, dance and smile
Exacto!!!!!
It is supposed to represent the younger generation taking us down the right path, That there is light and hope at the end of the tunnel
This song is so powerful! It's even more powerful when you see it live and feel the energy of everyone! Music will always meet you where you are! Cheers!
Watching this live was one of the highlights of my life so far. Glasto is a national treasure.
Not sure if there’s any other video that makes me miss live music more than this one. 😢😢
It appears, a few thousand people are having a magical moment together
approximately 100-125,000 people their that day if my memory serves me right
i see what you did there
What an incredible perfomance, makes every single feeling the song makes you feel even bigger with that beautiful smiles on everyone's faces and witnessing how they are not only playing the song, but feeling amd enjoying their own performance as if they were part of the audience.
Connection.
"We're just a million little gods, causing rain storms, turning every good thing to rust, I guess we'll just have to adjust" - apt.
Whose apt? What?
@@luisaguilar7997 haha I hope you’re kidding but in case you’re not, Apt is a saying as in how apt (relevant, appropriate, suitable) that those lyrics fit within our current life dealing with this fuckin’ COVID pandemic 😷
@@nadolfc8008 I thought it was an abreviate, thank you
" We're just a million little gods, causing rain storms, turning every good thing to rust, I guess we'll just have to adjust "
watching this praying this pandemic to be over soon. can't wait for events like this to happen again and bring love and happiness back to our hearts 💕
This was what got me into Arcade fire. Saw them live for the first time live this year at Manchester. What a night.
This bands modest is something to truly behold, incredible isn't strong enough.
I hope I can live enough to go to Glastonbury and enjoy something like this... it must be priceless and magical.
It's hard not to cry, it's so so beautiful
This song never fails to give me chills. Especially when there's thousands of people singing along! Beautiful.
One of the best bands in the world at one of the best music festivals in the world, what more could you want?
Best performances i’ve ever seen. Truly one of the greatest bands of all time
Wasn’t a fan. Now i am. Jesus that was amazing
As good as any song that has ever been written, ever.
the crazyest and astoning performance of this song. Everyone was so amazed with the energy shared between band and crowd. So unique. Make me jealous wishing being there somehow.
Their 2007 performance of this from Glastonbury is even better
@@DickyDer1 i will search that one too. Thanks
I love seeing bands perform live and really enjoy what they’re doing, you can feel the good energy just coming from the entire group
OMG goosebumps all around my body. This is a masterpiece, powerful and full of joy 💫
This version gives me the chills. Amazing live performance.
Finally after 44 years I have a bucket list item. Wake up live before I die!!! Mesmerizing and uplifting performance.
This song hits so hard... I cry everytime
A band in perfect harmony, amazing
Keep coming back to this awesome live performance . Great to see such enthusiasm in a band
To me, The Arcade Fire is a genre of their own. I don't remember many iconic bands from that decade but The Arcade Fire is one of them.
This song sings to my very soul .... AMAZING
True. I feel emotional singing with it.
2:30 I love these two guys just rhythmically holding up their instruments, feeling the pulse of this performance and participating in this celebration of a song.
Excellent concert in Moncton N.B. about 10 years ago ... it was with my son Liam ... he was 16 his first rock concert U2 and Arcade Fire.
One of those songs. First time I heard it, knew I'd always love it.
Seen them live 6 times between 2007 and 2017 and they are one of the most consistently incredible live bands on Earth. Just amazing stuff every single time.
Cannot describe how much I loved watching this live. Almost brought me to tears it was that amazing.
here i'm again crying cause this song is so damn good that makes me have a mix of feelings can't wait to this pandemic over and feel this energy again.
Another super amazing Canadian band makes me so proud to be Canadian. Amazing group
Arcade Fire was built for festivals. 🙌 ❤🎉
I just watched this 7 x in a row. Fantastic!!!
Funeral is by far their greatest album ,very beautiful it is a spiritual experience like the greatest works of Art.
The most epic adventurous song ever!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love this song 🍻
I ring in almost every New Year with this song... just feels right
That was proper wonderful, happy days
The girl on the keyboard says it all with a smile. What an awesome performance 👏
That's Régine Chassagne :-) . The wife of the frontman and a music genius.
These guys are so awesome live. Never heard of them before I saw them in Vegas or Nashville (can't remember which) many years ago. They looked like high school kids at the time. One of the best live performances I have ever seen.
Perhaps the best live performance of all time
A total class act!
Absolutely fantastic performance
Timeless, always makes me feel emotional.
Chills upon chills. Tears of joy upon tears of pain.
They really do put on one of, if not the most impressive band performances ive ever seen. And they all look so invested and to be enjoying the entire experience ❤
Oh how powerful. Shook. Peace love and musical magic.
what a wonderful performance
So many different flags in the crowd enjoying one of the best concert songs ever. That crowd is awesome
If we can harness the energy from Arcade Fire we wouldn't need solar ! Wow!
Glastonbury organizers: "So, how many people will be on stage, performing?"
Régine: "OUI!"
I had previously heard of Arcade Fire before but never really gave them a chance. However, this song has gotten me through quarantine and I can't wait until I get to see them live.
I honestly love this song and this band so much ❤
Ive been going to gigs and festivals for forty years and arcade fire are my favourite out of many hundreds of bands. Such love ensues.
Richard at 3:25 gets me every time!!!! That catch is so badass! Oh to have been there...
The last cathartic scream at the end of the world
I love how the musicians are enjoying themselves so much!
To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That is the purpose of life.
Walter smitty
This is not just a musical experience, it is an emotional and spiritual one.
Oh man
Goosebumps
Canadians are Awesome!
Okay that was pretty cool how the crowd sung them off the stage.
I love life! Love this song!
Life will never be like this again.
AMAZING !!
Greetings from Belgium
THIS SOUNDS VERY MAJESTIC!
Alot of energy and joy.Like BRUCE in his prime.
Ese mismo año tuve la fortuna de verlos por primera vez en el Vive Latino y qué forma tan chingona de cerrar un día tan increíble, la energía que se respira en un concierto suyo es algo que nunca se olvida. Wake Up junto con Here Comes the Night Time, The Suburbs y Ready to Start fueron mi top, larga vida a Arcade Fire
Increíble esa presentación del VL en sus 15 años, aunque se presentaban unos días después en lollapalooza trajeron escenario completo y una energía increíble.
Beatiful band, nice music, positive energy I put it on playing again and again:
''Children, wake up
Hold your mistake up
Before they turn the summer into dust''
This was my favorite concert when I was 16. They need to release the whole concert.
George Grieve it’s on bbc I player
Thanks I’ll give it a look!
It was also my son Liam's first concert when he was 16 also... 10 years ago in Moncton N.B. along with U2 which we both enjoyed.
Real instruments, real singers no auto tune, no crappy dancers just perfection
this is magic. so beautiful.
Saw them live at Lollapalooza. They're amazing ❤️
That was the best ending to a show I've ever seen
what a band
Come back arcade fire!! You been gone too long!!!
i was there. miss watching live bands. they were amazing
Hermoso temazo👏🏻👏🏻.
I love This song....
Love form India ❤
I was there, two rows from the front and to this day this remains my all time favourite musical experience. The whole park was on a high after this set.
