Best song in the soundtrack by far. The way that you can feel the Sinjoh ruins aspect of the song much stronger than the original Mt Coronet theme's frantic pacing really helps to remind you that all of the settlers in Sinnoh are actually native from other regions like Johto. And the strings playing the main theme are perfect. I'd love to see a live performance of this song some day, it would be magical.
No way!! I didn’t even know there was a Sinjoh ruins theme. Just listened to it. Already loved this song off the PLA OST and the fact that’s it combines the two gen 4 themes makes it that much cooler

Coronet... and combines it with a rising sense of urgency and a tension that never truly resolves; even at the end of the loop there's that high, strained-sounding note that continues into the next loop of the track it's genuinely wonderful; i couldn't have asked for more out of an arrangement of what was already an awesome piece of music ...except maybe that it were played in a few more places, instead of only in a cave/set of stairs that are a straight line, and a hill approaching said cave which it's a struggle to approach without aggro-ing a pokemon and causing the music to change...😔
