This is really cool. Thank you! I'm watching this because lately my teacher has been incoporating many elements from Afro into her jazz funk choreographies. Also we dance a lot of 'soul dance', which originated from the African community in the US back in 60's but Americans never recognized it a dance genre, probably due to its origin being Soul Train and people like James Brown, but the majority of moves were systemized by Japanese. It's very likely due to their poor English ability, they mistook 'Soul Train dance' as 'soul dance', hence the term. But anyway, soul dance has a lot of body grooves which are very hard to master, and I'd say the case is similar in Afro dance, which requires a lot of practices on grooves too.
