im african american 😭i just wanted to learn how to dance like this. but honestly im loving it. im just learning more about my ancestors from west and south africa.
Whatever she is doing is how I THINK I dance...how to transfer those skills from my head to my actual limbs is whole different story! I have never felt so old in my life! Anyone here over 30?
I'm 32 and I felt this exact same way in January however, key thing is to keep practicing - your body will get used to it. It's all about muscle memory... I feel so happy as I have mastered the legwork crossover and never thought I'd get it🙌🏾
Same here 36 in 1 month and I just tried some of the new dance steps last week. I love music and I looove to dance I'm feeling it I'm really feeling it but my body speaks another language 😂😂😂 And I thought I would never get out of dancing skills 😅
We went South africa for our Honeymoon in 2017 . We went there in so many clubs and people Dancing there had a very different Vibe we tried to imitate them tried dancing with them . Some girls were so extremely sweet they holded my hand a wer trying to teach me.. I loveeeee their Vibe ❤️❤️ love from India
I’m a proud African, but ashamed to say that I’m stiff like a rod and cannot dance at all 😭 hopefully this tutorial will help me progress before my mothers wedding. I refuse to embarrass myself and my family.

Luka here, I wanna dance like my cousins literally!!!! Ancestors please help me tomorrow at the Afrobeats festival 😂😂😂 Thank you for helping my ancestors make it over to create me. Africa 💛💛💛💛💛
Thank you so much I learned the moves! It took me approximately 1 month practicing everyday! The hardest one was the cross over and it took a bit longer. I did it really slow, then I got to a medium pace, and one day I was playing a fast African song and I started going faster and actually did it on the beat at full speed 💃🏾 I’ve danced all my life, including jazz ballet as a child, more as a bellydancer and bellydance instructor, which has more isolated moves.
Awesome tutorial! 🤓💃🏾 Me.. I will be 71years young in December👍🏼 I plan to practice...🤓 I plan to get it down! LOL! Positivity mind and body work together LOL!
I just Love How you teach Every Move. I can now do the Crossover Legwork which was the only difficult thing for me to pull off..... But u made it pretty easy to learn. Thank you ❤️
I had so much good times dancing with my Nigerian and Sundanese friends during college, love that dance is a universal language. Im South Asian btw🙏🏽🇲🇾🤩💜
I love you girl. Yo taught me all the dance I know. Then introduced me to loving south African dance . Especially amapiano. Now I even love it more than west African. Love from Uganda.
