23:00 this right here is why I personally claim Messi to be the greatest of all time. Yea, he has the accolades and awards to back it up, but really he’s the GOAT because I’ve never seen someone make the game look so easy. He performs outstanding quality of duels, dribbles, passes, goals. People who play football know how easy it is to make a mistake, how much effort it takes to ride challenges from big defenders, how difficult it is to hit the upper 90 from outside the box. These micro-game moments where Messi looks like he just makes the right decision with the right technique almost every time.

How I view the GOAT debate is like comparing food to drinks. Ronaldo is a striker, so his mission is to score goals. Messi, on the other hand, is more of a winger/attacking midfielder, at times, so his mission is to be a playmaker and create chances for goals. Rodri and De Bruyne are both midfielders, but different types, so it would be hard to say who is definitively better. Its better to have an open mind and appreciate the players we grew up watching and will see grow into amazing stars

No, not being ABLE to dribble is worse than being able to dribble. Stop sugarcoating it. Go and play a game and find out how much more impact a player who can get a ball behind a midfield and/or defensive line and break them on their own through their dribbling has. It opens up a lot of space for the rest. Trying to act like being higher up on the pitch and benefitting more from the men behind you is "as good, bit more effective) is just peak football ignorance.
Chill on me 😭
Messi fans creating Dey own happiness 😂
It’s okey bro there is no one close to Messi anymore gang debate about javelin throwing goat or something
All right, give me Ronaldo stats compared to Messi all of them
Watch you’re not even gonna give me any data. You wash a video of a data table and you think it’s fake. You’re really funny.
Numbers mean nothing in football.
Numbers mean alot. Ignorant asf.
defently not biased😂
Make your own and let people see. Let's see how u do
"Defently"
Also someone from pts army
it’s not Messi dominates in stats
It is a little bias, not including the older players, but compared to Ronaldo. He is definitely better.
Rayan Cherki is still African, tho 😂
How I view the GOAT debate is like comparing food to drinks. Ronaldo is a striker, so his mission is to score goals. Messi, on the other hand, is more of a winger/attacking midfielder, at times, so his mission is to be a playmaker and create chances for goals. Rodri and De Bruyne are both midfielders, but different types, so it would be hard to say who is definitively better. Its better to have an open mind and appreciate the players we grew up watching and will see grow into amazing stars
That would make sense if messi’s goalscoring numbers weren’t as good as what it is. Messi winning the golden boot and best playmaker award in the same season TWICE shows just how much better he is compared to the rest of the
@@antiwokehuman that’s a good point. I think he did play as a striker at some point in Barca, but I usually try to keep it general, tho I would and always will choose Messi over Ronaldo
Stop making since gang
@@thelnlme 😭
@insertname1006 messi won 3 of the golden boots after 2016 though when he was most certainly a winger/wide playmaker
So this guy is comparing the old legends stats from the WORLD CUP to current players stats from WHOLE SEASONS? Of course they're going to have worse stats, the world cup is the hardest competition to win, where most players participate in less than 3 tournaments. Zidane completing 5 dribbles against Brazil is not the same as Dembele doing that against Brest.
Yeah, he explained in the video and is aware of the inaccuracy.
Biased ahh video and these graphics that are cherry picked are too specifically placed in order for Messi to come out on top
Bro you really gotta check out How Mourinho Conquered Guardiola and Spain, its a great video!
This is low key a messi fan boy😂
Are numbers and stats messi fan boys too ?
Ronaldo fans always try their hardest to ignore stats😭🙏
Facts, numbers and statistics are all Messi fan boys 😂
@@A.D_0802 but the stats he chose were in messi’s favor only don’t lie 😂

"but but but Ronaldo has over 900+ goals and 5 champions, he is the goat" 🤡🤡🤡🤡
he is not mr champions league thats madrid propaganda klose its mr world cup becasue he had more goals?, paco gento is mr champions league becaue have 6 champions league? football is more than goals, its about performance, crstiano is the greatest goalscorer of the champions league.
He has most records in champions league most goals in ucl most asists most g/a in knock out stage most goals in finals he just recently got an award from ucl as the best player in champions league and btw best WC player is pele
Ronaldo is not just goals but biased fans like you will never understand that or take the time to watch him play
@@erik9775 i watch his whole career, he was never a playmaker, a lopt of good goals, but not genius,
@@lm9wd_frayo how is the assist how is goal, there are easy goasl and easy assist, g/a is very suppercial and not accurate stats, that award is based in that superficial stats
@@mem5860 280 assists say otherwise bro
Some of the comparisons in this video between Messi and Ronaldo are a bit unfair because Ronaldo role changed and he became an out and out goalscorer! He did his job well
Messi did both scoring and creating.
cherry picking as usual
You can even show defensive stats and Messi still dominates against Ronaldo thats crazy. All excuses, one of the most important stats are 10 perfect ratings of a game and Messi has more than combined of Ney, Lewy, El Pistolero and Ronny's perfect matches lmao.
juve fanboy as usual
😂😂These are the most biased stats I've seen.
& as a Business Analyst, yes, numbers do lie
Look at the game score chart. It includes every single metric, are you gonna say that is bias or do you think a chart only focusing on goals is more bias. Tell me which is true.
some shitt biased video

By showing stats thats are in messis favour? Yk I can make a video making neymar look better then messi and Ronaldo.
@@TahsinShahed-07l how can you fake numbers when these stats are proven facts. Your argument doesn’t make sense. You can make a player look better by an edit. NEVER by numbers because you can’t fake numbers when it’s proven by facts😑

damn messi hav better rating ronaldo has more goals as em said u dress better i rap better

To be fair, the video did focus more on Messi’s strengths, also, fun fact, not sure if this has been broken yet but Ronaldo had the record for most dribbles in a single game
Nope Messi has that record against Manchester United 2008 semi final, another lie debunked
wtf that has to do with anything? messi in general is far better dribbler than cristiano, it's not even close, and i watched that roma game live where cristiano dribbled the most times, still messi's dribbles are far more effective and has better end product, you noobs of football makes everything so cringe
The gamescore chart didn't focus on Messi's strength and somehow the gap was even bigger in that category. So lame excuses once more, stop trying to cope.
Cr7 🐐
Messi was handed everything lol fraud footballer
Cr7 can't cope with stats that prove messi is 10x the player cr7 is😂
