Why the extra complexity of unstacking from the bottom? You should be able to unstack from the top, so the top layer is always the first in the line, and just flip your stackers to assemble the layers in the correct order. I just finished my MAM, the main goal was to use only a single global signal receiver, with that signal being passed all throughout the machine. No pins yet but that will be easy by treating it as a 5th shape. I may eventually do crystals.
