Have the same car and today I drove in Baja mode first time. Absolutely insane how easy this car runs over rocks, dirt and mud.

This car is super exciting when it comes to off roading. We tried all modes on wet grass today and I must say, It’s way much better than G klasse.
what a great break from the routine. Love the views from this different perspective. Glad to see the respect shown to walker with their dogs. The rural views and river side sites are really great to see.

@@1921babiflo pretty sure that,that is the sound the engine makes, because i own a ranger wildtrak (asian region only) and they have the same engine but mine has a rear leaf spring a 6 speed manual,with 210 hp and 500nm torque and that engine sound is what i hear on my ranger wildtrak

No idea why anyone would want to own one of these in the Netherlands ahahah, seems too much of a hassle to navigate the tiny roads in such a truck

@@carsonfaulk9051 Maybe for the US. They don't fit in many parking spaces here in the UK for example. Anything bigger and you'll need to go looking for LGV parking. :)
@@markwright3161 The U.S. has the F150 Raptor! They only reason they might not be too popular in the NL, is because of the steep price and underwhelming setup (2 liter 4 cylinder diesel... even the regular Ranger has a 5 cylinder).
But the size sure ain't it, considering the RAM 1500 is the best selling pick-up in the Netherlands and Belgium - which is a full size, the Ranger is a midsize.
You can even get the F150 Raptor if at some Ford dealers, which has 430+ hp. But it's absolutely not cheap to say the least.
But for real, even bigger pick-ups sell like hot cakes, and car salesmen know it, it's insane
@@jhndk7915 I was purely replying to CarsonPlaysRB's comment about the Ranger being a small truck. I can only speak for the UK roads, parking, etc. For here, the Ranger is a big vehicle, as mentioned, they don't fit in a lot of our parking spaces. The comparison to the US is simply because of all the 'full-size' crew cab extended bed dually pick-ups out there, a Ranger is dwarfed when parked next to one of those, why they might call it a small truck. What classifies as a bus or lorry over here (needing a higher level licence to drive them) would fit in the footprint of one of those duallys/ies.
@@markwright3161 of course, what I was trying to say is: the NL isn't that big either, spaces are also pretty small overall, and somehow larger trucks than a Ranger work way better... strangely, it just doesn't always make sense, lol.

Der Baja-Modus, ist Offroad, nur mit einer Mindesthöhstgeschwindigkeit von 130km/h zu benutzen - sonst langweilig sich das Auto.
Was macht der Baja-Modus ? Schaltet die Motordrosslung aus und macht das Getriebe knackiger: mehr Power = Mehr Verschleiß. Nicht zu empfehlen beim täglichen Weg zur Arbeit!

When I saw 213hp 4cyl associated with the RAPTOR name I was pretty disgusted tbh haha but then.. seeing the styling of the car and how well it handles off road, I honestly really want one! Hopefully pricong isn't ridiculous
Well this one is a special Dutch version. Rear seats removed and separated by a wall. Otherwise, for the Dutch tax rules it would cost you roughly 100.000€. Plus owners tax of 250+ per MONTH.
