Good reaction. As I think you've been told, this song is almost 5 years old. It was on BABYMETAL's Metal Galaxy album released in 2019. It is one of BABYMETAL's more 'chill' songs ... but they do everything and that makes them the perfect band to collaborate with since they can adapt to virtually any other band's or artist's style. Polyphia are a mainly instrumental Prog Rock band from Texas. Tim Henson (white guitar) and Scott le Page (longer hair) provided and recorded the guitar tracks for the original recording of the song. Fox_Fest was the first chance they all had to meet up and to finally do this very first live performance with them all together. When Polyphia was confirmed on the bill for Fox_Fest (arranged, hosted and headlined by BABYMETAL in Tokyo) we all had a good idea of what would happen.🎸🎸
@@TheHeartofGeekYou're such a liar! You CLEARLY said that this isn't a new song and you think it's off the Metal Kingdom album, which doesn't even exist! Duh. Just admit when you're wrong. Wow. Pathetic.
The song is far cooler and smoother to me now than it was when it first came out. The song always got lost in the mix to me on Metal Galaxy. I'm so glad it was given a new lease of life. The fingersnaps are like something from the 1950's, which became cool again in the 80's when the 50's music came back after 30 years. And i guess this has and 80's sound which became cool again in the 2010's after 30 years. Basically the song oozes coolness.
I would suggest Monochrome and Divine Attack, both Live at PIA Arena 2023 next. Monochrome: th-cam.com/video/8pvxCzhBsTM/w-d-xo.html Divine Attack: th-cam.com/video/gpHoXlHIHyU/w-d-xo.html

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this artistic play at the venue (2 times in the two-day Fox_Fest). What a bliss!! Soothing and exquisite performance by 5 elegant figures in the center 😍. Classy incorporation by our Kami Band on both sides (4 guitars in total) ❤ Various elements created by 3 beautiful performers and 6 instrumentalists with virtuosity were mixed and sublimed into one beauty by means of something like alchemy. The actual applause at the end of the song was much much much bigger than that recorded in this video. They did it together again in Belgian festival on June 20.
good reaction fellas, don't be surprised if every BM song you hear is different from the last lol, it's kinda their thing, you are getting all the usual song recommendations, so I will highly recommend "From Dusk Till Dawn" Live at Budokan 2021, for a otherworldly experience of epic proportions ... th-cam.com/video/DyDm5gpoDf0/w-d-xo.html
👍 👍 Easily one of my favorite BABYMETAL songs. Yes Tim and Scott's instrumentals are a driving force here but for me it is Suzuka's stunning vocal performance and Moa and Momo's beautiful backing vocals that seal it. Suzuka once again proves that (in my opinion) she is the most versatile and talented female singer today. She just loves to sing and it shows. Welcome back to the Foxhole and now going back to Metal Galaxy era.🦊🤘🌅 Metal Kingdom is part of their latest 2023 concept album titled "The Other One" and there's no collaboration on that album. Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find many more like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new but is one of the songs with more mature sound. The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, Tim Henson (short hair on the right) and Scott LePage (long hair on the left), and it's quite clear in the solo section. Polyphia got a viral clip when they were performing live and having an issue with the drummer IEM not working and a roadie helped him out in an unorthodox way to save the show, very funny clip. Their songs are mainly instrumental but i think they got some collabs with famous singers but don't quote that on me, what is for sure they got mad skills playing instruments. Tim Henson also said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song. The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc. Song is inspired by certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly. Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together. They did it again last week at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix. Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it. In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one. Keep enjoying BM songs and see you next time 🦊🤘🔥

Yeah we knew that but didn’t point out that it was a new video that dropped and not necessarily a new song :). Thanks for the info as well :)
