One thing that I have noticed is that whenever Babymetal sings in the language of the band they're collaborating with they treat it with such care that it makes the whole song better.
Agree 100%
Yep, it's a barnacle monster. As someone else suggested, check out Too Close/Too Late and Angel Eyes... but with Angel Eyes, the live pro-shot version so you get her current take on that song which I think is wildly superior to the EP version.
Will do thanks for the comments :)
You should try Too Close Too late and then Angel Eyes back to back. The full spectrum of Spiritbox
Will add these to our list :)
The great thing about Babymetal collabs is that Su's voice works so well with the harder and more aggressive male vocals that they collab with.... whether its F.Hero, Bring Me The Horizon, or Electric Callboy and now Bloodywood....What I really would love to see now is Babymetal collabing with the women of western metal like Tarja, Floor, Sharon den Adel, Simone, Scabbia, etc....😁😁😁🤘🦊🤘
Jeremy, you are at 0.2fps sir 🤣
Yeah I know the recording some how got screwed up I think it was related to me having OBS open at the same time
Amazing collab.🦊🤘🔥
👍Awesome collaboration. Instrumental🔥, vocal🔥, the anime was the pièce de résistance😊. 🦊 🖖❤
BABYMETAL makes everyone and everything better.
Bekhauf means fearless or fearlessly.
Good reaction and discussion. Bloodywood were singing in Hindi, rapping in English. BABYMETAL sang in both Japanese and their last few lines were also in Hindi.🦊🐘🤘
🤘🤘🤘🤘💙💙💙
react to their new song - 'Bekhauf'
We will definitely be reacting to that one very soon :)
You got it: it is a mix of Hindi and English.
Thought so; thanks :)
Please react to their song 'Dana Dan' but pleeeeease turn on the closed captions. All their other songs have hard encoded subs but Dana Dan is unique because of the lyrical content.
Will add to our list, and will make sure subtitles are on
Bloodywood first album Rakshak is also fantastic. Please react to' Girish and the chronicles' another Indian band.
We will add that to our list :)
the Indian drum is called a dohl
Thanks for that :).
react to bsdk.exe one of the best bloodywoood song
We will add that to our list :)
😢😢😢
We hope you enjoyed the podcast :)
Nice reaction. Babymetal has a wide variety to their music. Which is one of the reasons I like them. I can listen to the whole album and not feel like the songs just blended from one to another. Getting ear tired or bored. Instead, I look forward to the next song wondering what they will do next. Especially with their live performances. Su humming is a first for them. Audience participation is mandatory at a Babymetal concert. Moa has said they don't feel like their songs are complete until it's performed with an audience. This show they welcomes Momoko into Babymetal in a most heartwarming way. During the humming part Moa is right at Su's side. Momoko off on her own. Then Su reaches out to her and the Duo that once was Su and Moa have become a trio again in center stage Su Moa and now Momoko. Babymetal started out as a trio of Su Moa and Yui. Sadly, Yui left Babymetal officially in 2018 but had stopped performing with them During 2017 due to health issues. No one and I mean No ONE knows what the health issues were. And anyone who does isn't talking. On that note Su and Moa have said they keep in touch with Yui and think of her as family. As you go down the foxhole, you'll get to see how close Yui and Moa are. Su Yui and Moa spent a lot of time together. Su has mentioned how much it hurt when Yui left but it led to the bond between Su and Moa growing stronger. After 2 albums They welcomed Momoko to the group. Back to full power they have been reenergized and the joy they are performing with is infectious. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises
We appreciate all the info you've provided and will check out the foxhole for sure!
Nice one, thanks! "Monochrome" is kinda on their poppier side but the tone of those guitars is really surprising. The Other ONE album is a masterpiece as a whole. And they go definitely heavier in "Mirror Mirror", "MAYA", "Believing" or "Divine Attack" (for example). 🤘🦊
I love this beautiful song, the performance and stage are also impressive
Hopefully this will stick now. Good reaction and thanks for doing this.🦊
You are welcome and thanks for all the suggestions :)
👍Awesomely awesome performance. 🦊 🖖❤
Sick Raven Black shirt. I tend tend to like the more aggressive songs but Monochrome is one of absolute top Babymetal songs.
Monochrome is near the top for me on Babymetal songs, to be fair, it's hard choosing top Babymetal songs as really, they're pretty much all good. The piano version of Monochrome on The First Take's channel is also great and is worth a listen as it showcases Su-Metal's vocal talent very well. Actually got into Babymetal off of the Electric Callboy collaboration, whom I had seen live just days before the release of at Sonic Temple. Had known Babymetal's name for years, just never gave them a listen until the collaboration. Since then though, been nearly non-stop listening. I'll actually be seeing Babymetal in less than 24 hours from now in Cincinnati, which will be a solid 4 hour drive for me.
We got that request earlier today as a matter of fact so definitely will be checking it out :)
Also cool on seeing them live we will be doing that at some point as well :)
Thank you so much Grington300💕
☺
Nice reaction! The song "Monochrome" is one of my favorite songs with beautiful melody, very positive lyrics, SU's great voice, and MOA&MOMO's choreography, all perfect!🦊💕
Speaking of Bloodywood, we THINK they have a collab with Babymetal...they introduced a new song at a concert a few nights ago that sounded like Babymetal vocals...we're waiting for official word. I definitely recommend from Babymetal's The Other One album: "Mirror, Mirror", "Believing" and "Maya".
We will add them to our list of ever expanding songs :). Thanks for these
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。I witnessed this very performance at the venue where and when Momoko was inducted into BABYMETAL officially. Yes, she had a headset mic for the first time like Moa has had since BM's inception. I sang the ♪ oh oh ohoo ♪ part with Momometal with my loudest voice in the show holding my phone. I was in bliss, for sure! The flying drones with cameras that enabled the beautiful aerial cinematograph were manipulated by experts including Ms. Shiraishi. She is a member of team Japan for World Drone Racing Championship. Our Kami Band played in the girls' back. They have supported BABYMETAL since 2019. Japanese fans always appreciate the devoted support like knights by Chris, CJ, Anthony, and 3 bassists (Clint, Ryan, Matt). They are really unsung heroes.
🤘🦊✨
No group is for everybody. That said a lot of folks-obviously-love Babymetal and appreciate that theirs is a unique and wonderful experience. Glad you guys are enjoying them.
Nice reaction! One of my favorite songs by them. If you can, react to the Piano version on The First Take channel.
We will take a look :)
◼ 🤍 🖤 ◻ Su doesn't use a lot of vibrato, she just hits her notes cleanly and directly, like a boss. If you're looking for more songs that show off her range, I'd suggest 'BxMxC', 'Shanti Shanti Shanti', or like this one, anything from the latest album 'THE OTHER ONE'.
Thanks for the suggestions :)
@@TheHeartofGeek "From Dusk Till Dawn" is another great example of her range.
@@TheHeartofGeek Great reaction. You should react to Tales Of The Destinies, Syncopation, From Dusk Till Dawn, Starlight - Shine (Legend M) - Arkadia (Trilogy Of Lights) You can find the videos in the links below. For LIVE, I suggest using the videos on the Babymetal Reactor Resource th-cam.com/video/q40VmTHSh4c/w-d-xo.html. There's more information in the description of that video There's also this channel with great-quality videos www.youtube.com/@Hymnodic/videos
Good reaction. I think the word you were looking for was 'mellow' rather than 'poppy' to describe the song. This is one of their songs about hope for the future, things may seem at an all time low, your darkest hour and surely there is no coming back from it, but "No matter how long the night, the morning will arrive". This was Momometal's first concert as an official member, Su calling her and Moa across to her was the first time she had been called Momometal on stage - and of course the crowd with their phones "lighting up this dark, dark world" while Su hummed the melody was a special moment (one they have recreated at shows all around the world since this was filmed). PIA Arena is actually one of the smaller arenas they have played recently in Japan, I think the capacity is about 12k, but there were very specific reasons they chose to perform these particular concerts there that I won't go into now. If you want heavier songs from this album you could try 'Divine Attack', 'Mirror Mirror', 'Maya' or 'Believing' (again the PIA Arena performances of all those are good, these were two great concerts).
It seemed a lot bigger than that in the video :).
And also thanks for the suggestions :)
@@TheHeartofGeek From another site where he shared your reaction, a post from Grington: "TH-cam is deleting all my comments again!🤬"
@@TheHeartofGeekit is 17k seated with about 10k standing.
👍 👍 Grington won't steer you wrong.
Thanks🙂 - and even more true here as YT is deleting my comments
Poppy's music is so diverse it's really hard to introduce anyone to her with a single song haha! My favourite song of hers is BLOODMONEY, but Push Go and Have You Had Enough from the new album are amazing too.
Thanks we will have to check those out as well :)
do Great CHingis Khaan, or mother nature
Thanks we will add them to our list :)
My favorite band of all time!!! HU HU HU
Wow genius construction.
The Hu, You can call it like “The who” - actually its means “Hunnu-“
Good reaction to this great band. I see you have not done any reactions to the bands Lovebites an all girl metal band from Japan or Nightwish a sinphonic metal band.
We will check them out :)
Definitely not their heaviest but it's up there. Spiritbox is s great band
The whole album is great but those were just the mains that were my fave.
What about canvas???
Enjoyed the reaction and discussion! Megitsune is classic Babymetal...and as Grington300 mentioned, really worth looking at one of those live versions. Looking forward to the next song reaction!
Thanks :)
Prefer the younger versions of this really but still an amazing track. good reaction.
Nice reaction. One of my favorite songs and the video is amazing, but nowadays I prefer to listen to the more recent live versions, as it is heavier instrumentally.
One of my very favorite songs 🤘🦊
I *thought* the last one cut off in a weird place. XD
It did indeed the first upload
Nice reaction!🤘🦊🔥
Thanks :)
