I love Vince Neil and the original Crue line-up, but I also love this album. Possibly the heaviest of all the Crue albums. Mick Mars was on point on this one 👍
I've always liked Crüe, but this IS raw power in-your-face Crüe! I always crank up the volume on any tune on this Album/CD! Absolutely my favorite Crüe release!
Everyone loves this Mötley Crüe except Elektra and Vince Neil fans. Fuck Elektra for not loving John Corabi and they kept bitching at the band to try to get Vince Neil back and we’re okay of what we got.
I know right. I can't believe all the die hard hair metal MC fans can't look past the Vince era and see the true passion and beauty of this album. It's definitely their finest work
I remember I wrote to Kerri Kasem once that this single with John Corabi was truly one of the very best singles of the group. I stand by that statement, the guitars were ferocious and Corabi gave Vince Neil a run for his money as a vocalist, specifically on this track. The album [1994] proved a welcome presence to counter-balance the emergence of alternative rock including the likes of Collective Soul and Live during the 90's. It may have been a one-and-done affair where John was concerned but it's still a relevant entry to the anals of Rock & Roll and Heavy Metal.
Best production that motley ever did with bob rock . Those fricken drums are beefy ! Oh and John corabi is actually a singer who’s talented with soul n balls. Vince can’t shine johns shows if he tried.
I feel that i was very fortunate and lucky enough to be able to have enjoyed the Joe Corabi album, i bought it the day it came out, i saw them perform live at the Woodlands in Houston, Texas and also met the band in person at an in-store meet & greet at Sound Warehouse record store real close to the Woodlands venue
I remember when it was released feeling skeptical about someone coming into filling Vince's shoes, at this point I had only heard the song hooligans holiday on FM radio. I didn't give this album a chance at in 94, but today, without a doubt in my mind this album kickes ass! Don't do what I did listening to only a couple of songs and didn't play it for a few years, that was a huge mistake on my part. granted a lot of it is different from other crue cds but with the great Bob Rock producIng this one, you wont deny just how great this release is, starting with this track
I read that both Mick and Nikki enjoyed working with John Corabi. Mick was able to go off a little since John could play some rhythm guitar and Nikki liked having a second lyricist in the band. They never released another album quite like this one.
This is actually a very good album. John Corabi's voice is a lot different from Vince Neil's but the fact that he can write lyrics and play guitar added a depth and dimension to the sound that Vince never could. This album definitely has a much more mature sound and I dig the heavier and more aggressive direction. I do have to wonder, though, if maybe they should have used a different name. The mid-90's was a very hostile time for bands associated with the hair metal movement and no band was more associated with that fad than Motley Crue. This album fits comfortably with the alternative/groove metal that was around at the time and I have to wonder if this album may have done better commercially had they used a different name. Then again, Motley Crue had just signed a deal with Elektra Records and likely couldn't use a different name simply because Elektra wanted Motley Crue.
i think corabi fit in real nice for that era. would have loved to see atleast 2 more records with him but in the end the fans wanted vince and they got him.
Fantastic album. If they would have put it out under a different band name, it might have been big. Not in the cut out bins. Wasnt the Crue everyone was expecting.
Me hubiera gustado que Corabi hiciera otros tres álbumes más...tal vez nunca hubieran necesitado de Neil, para defender su título de banda legendaria...
I bought this cassette in Corpus Christi. I was instantly hooked. Yet I knew the fan base would not accept the new sound. And grunge at this time had a strong foot hold on the rock music scene which did not help this album at all. Six months after this was released, it was shelved as a disappointment. Yet its the best overall release by MC imo.
Just imagine how much better songs like Kickstart My Heart and Primal Scream would have sounded with Corabi on vocals! I like Vince, but in comparison he's a bit weak. He is better on the ballads like Home Sweet Home and Without You. I almost wish I had never heard Corabi with the rest of Crue so I wouldn't wonder what could have been if he had been in the band all along.
I don't get motley Crüe, they've always complained Vince wasn't contributing or his singing wasn't great. But for this Album they got a good song writer ,a great power singer and he has the look, the Black hair they all look united .But for some reason people overlook this album, I don't get it! It's a real good Album and it's the least expensive album ,why is that?... now john 5 is going to join making sound even better, no offense to Mars but John 5 is better...if John C was still in the band Crüe would've been killer!!!
This album change my life!!!!
Same here
This is actually the sound they should go back to now.
bring corabi back for these songs
THE BEST CREW ALBUM IN MY OPINION !!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Vince Neil and the original Crue line-up, but I also love this album. Possibly the heaviest of all the Crue albums. Mick Mars was on point on this one 👍
Mars owned this. So under rated of an album!! That just hard-core Mars in your face with that guitar!
Don't get me started on Hooligans Holiday! ROCKED!!!
TOTALLY AGREED WITH YOU, THIS IS THEIR HEAVIEST RELEASE
Possibly?? Most definitely!!
I've always liked Crüe, but this IS raw power in-your-face Crüe! I always crank up the volume on any tune on this Album/CD! Absolutely my favorite Crüe release!
Very underrated album. Much heavier and more aggressive. John Corabi brought a new dimension to the sound.
Yes the best!
Very underrated..
Everyone loves this Mötley Crüe except Elektra and Vince Neil fans.
Fuck Elektra for not loving John Corabi and they kept bitching at the band to try to get Vince Neil back and we’re okay of what we got.
Tommy was hitting heavy here. His best album.
This was the album that made me like Motley Crue. The heaviest sound from the 90's with Corabi's killer voice.
Same here!
Heavier, louder and better
Best album of 1994 Year🔝🤟🏻
This album has aged really well, love it
I know right. I can't believe all the die hard hair metal MC fans can't look past the Vince era and see the true passion and beauty of this album. It's definitely their finest work

Great album my favorite from the Crue
Best production that motley ever did with bob rock . Those fricken drums are beefy ! Oh and John corabi is actually a singer who’s talented with soul n balls. Vince can’t shine johns shows if he tried.
One of the best songs of Motley Crue
Not enough credit. This song freaking rocked!
To bad nobody liked it cause Vince neil wasn't singing
A very under rated album, an another special track from it!!
This album still rocks after all these years such a heavy record.
Motley Crue LIKE NEVER EVER SOUNDED: HEAVIER THAN EVER BEFORE
Great album
Guitars Sound like Pantera.Corabi had a Killer Voice
Was my first album of The Crue. I love it with all my fckin´soul!!!
the best album hands down.
Just heavy and I still rock the hell out of this cd..
There is a basic Crüe sound but with heavier rifts and blues influence is a great combination.
This album shows Tommy isn't just one of those 80's hair band drummers.
@@MatthewBaumgarten John Corabi not Joe.
I bet Vince cried when he hears this release because even he knows this is better than anything he ever done.
I don't think .
vince made a great album too...
@@matheus5877 I agree, Vince made his voice work for him but if people really listen to him he truly never could really sing.
@@marklawless8829 better than Vince in 2020 the guy cant even sing now we all want corabi
Vince said in 2000 that he has never listened to this album because he has no interest and completely disagreed with the direction of the album.
Killer album!
Power to the music, hammered,Smoke the sky,is RAW IN YOUR FACE
Great album one my favorite Crue album

La verdad nunca habia escuchado esta version con este cantante muy bueno very good!!
Can't understand why they didn't continue with this sound!! Amazing album!
It's a shame Sixx and Lee won't release this on vinyl. It would sell out within hours.
I hear a King’s X influence here big time. Great song!
This album had so much testosterone that it gave me a hairy chest.
powerful stuff. John Corabi troppo bravo
Motley Crue's self titled
albumn (with john c.-
on vocals) from 1994 is
their best albumn. Mick
Mars will agree.
Great freaking CD great band with JC singing 🎶
Mick knew what he was doing..... this shit still kicks ass
I read that both Mick and Nikki enjoyed working with John Corabi. Mick was able to go off a little since John could play some rhythm guitar and Nikki liked having a second lyricist in the band. They never released another album quite like this one.
John Corabi......kicking ass!!!!
Best Motley Crue Album, ever!

Didn't do well commercially because most motley crue fans wouldn't let it or give it a chance
The best fucking álbum of the Crüe!! Amazin!
i think corabi fit in real nice for that era. would have loved to see atleast 2 more records with him but in the end the fans wanted vince and they got him.
I know, this album rips! I've never heard it before today, and I wish there was a few more.
Rougher tougher version of Motley Crue !_! ^_^
Fantastic album. If they would have put it out under a different band name, it might have been big. Not in the cut out bins. Wasnt the Crue everyone was expecting.
Exactly!..what I’ve been saying for years.
Éste álbum es una joya total de Motley Crue
Amazing stuff. cool video, killer track.
This CD rocked but didn't do well in AMERICA loved JC singing saw him when he was in the scream he was freaking
AMAZING!!!
Me hubiera gustado que Corabi hiciera otros tres álbumes más...tal vez nunca hubieran necesitado de Neil, para defender su título de banda legendaria...
Good song pure power.
And now peeps. Hooligans Holiday!! Banger!!!
They traded a chevy for a ford, awsome fuckin album heavy as hell
was this an unreleased video because i dont remember seeing it on MTV
I think the Crüe never wanted Vince back. That's one of the reason Tommy left.
That is true.
I bought this cassette in Corpus Christi. I was instantly hooked. Yet I knew the fan base would not accept the new sound. #1
The bastard son album that the crüe dont want to talk about.
Hard rock. John
How do you go from this to Generation Swine 😐
Imagine if Corabi was the original singer 😳🤯
This is not real Motley ?! So fucking what this is awesome !!!! 🤘👏
This is Crue, you can listen it, very different record fromthe other ones, but this is awesome, Corabi sings better than Neil.
@@isolirionband7300 yeah you're right 🤘👍
Corabi gave his distinctive voice to this unappreciated album; It's a shame that they didn't made another one together
Hmm.. that is different.... maybe it will grow on me.
has it ?
@@joecamel6835 No..
Vince who ????
Indian hemp leaves in the vid some drug use referrence/telling?
ALWAY HATED THE CRUE!!...the little girl band, until John Corabi!!..unfortunately one album and he be gone!!!

Why is this not in Resident Evil 3 remake
