Hi Dianna ! Thank you so much for all of your wonderful videos. I love machine knitting and you have taught me so much. Whenever I have a question about a technique you almost always have the answer.
Hi Diana, This is a back stitch I use in sewing. Just learnt that it can be done in knitting too. Well done Ladies for this new technique. Never too old to learn eh! I'll be doing this back stitch in all my swatches too. Thanks for sharing. I am so relieved that I have the same knitting machine as yours. Your fan from France. Hugs xxx
As one who fumbles with arthritic hands impacting dexterity, I take my sts off rapidly with a knitting needle and bind off with another, super fast with it.
Avoid knitting a row unless you have enough yarn to knit across. Join new yarns by starting them on a new row. No need to tie the new yarn on, just thread the machine and hold it down or put a clothespin on it. When the garment is knitted and sewn together, sew the yarn ends in and out in the seam allowance inside the garment, and that gives about the flattest, neatest yarn end hide possible.
