    What tension do I use for the main knitting. My instruction book doesn't indicate when to change tension. The first 3 rows kit OK but when I change tension & release the left plain button the 4th row jams up every time.

    Brilliant solution but I've a question - to get a firm edge we normally have the slide lever on II for the initial setup and circular rows but when I try this after the ravel cord it all goes horribly wrong and even refuses to knit across. I've managed to knit this a couple of times successfully but without the lever on II, it still gives a lettuce edge - just less obvious. Any ideas/ suggestions?

    • @theknittingschool
      @theknittingschool  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The ravel cord id probably too thick to work with the slider.

    some cards have an R on them and I was told they are ribber punchcards. How do they differ from knitter punchcards?

    • @theknittingschool
      @theknittingschool  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It simply means that these cards can be used in conjunction with the ribber to create some fabrics. The ribber itself will knit and the main bed with tuck or skip according to the punch-card, creating a textured fabric.
