It distills the composition into its purest essence. And it is flawlessly performed. Bravo and well done. Bravo!!! I agree totally with CurtisAmusements. The piano sound really changes the texture. It's more....raw, primitive. It enhances the very American themes in the music. Superb performance. Perfect tempo!
My friend and I are learning this. We've just discovered this performance and are inspired. It's so good. Love the rubato in the Sweetheart movement.
