At 6:59, has this guy not heard of television programming before cable? Before cable, every tv channel was free...and we had to suffer through commercials! He makes TH-cam sound like a whole new concept (in this regard).

If there wasn't money in the web (from selling ad space) then there wouldn't be a fraction of the content there is now to consume. Whether or not thats important to you is your choice but like the other guy it was inevitable
