What I like the most about them is that, they did not need to wear suits to go on stage...They wore only jeans and common t-shirts... They are so humble people! And I personally adore Phill Collins! Sorry for my english :)
Invisible Touch Phil Collins Well I've been waiting, waiting here so long But thinking nothing, nothing could go wrong, but now I know She has a built in ability To take everything she sees And now it seems I'm falling, falling for her. She seems to have an invisible touch yeah She reaches in, grabs right hold of your heart She seems to have an invisible touch yeah It takes control and slowly tears you apart. I don't really know her, I only know her name But she crawls under your skin, you're never quite the same, and now I know She's got something you just can't trust It's something mysterious And now it seems I'm falling, falling for her. She seems to have an invisible touch yeah She reaches in, grabs right hold of your heart She seems to have an invisible touch yeah It takes control and slowly tears you apart. She don't like losing, to her it's still a game Though she'll mess up your life, you'll want her just the same, now I know She has a built in ability To take everything she sees And now it seems I've fallen, fallen for her. She seems to have an invisible touch yeah She reaches in, grabs right hold of your heart She seems to have an invisible touch yeah It takes control and slowly tears you apart.
that 'oh oh ohhh' sound in the first 3 seconds of the video: is it found on any other recordings? I love that sound for some reason and am curious to know whether it is part of another song or something?
One track where Paul and Daryl got it as regards light and harmony. Domino was the greatest combo. Banks always held this bunch of chancers together!!!!
i love genesis, but this is not a very good song. it's better live though. and it's still better than 99% of the other pop 80's crap that was coming out back then.
Lifelong all-eras fan here and i have to say i agree. I mean i like it nowadays, but it was slow growing on me. Not saying i didn't like the album at the time, i just remember buying the sheet music book and seeing lots of simple progressions like Dm, C, Bb, C, etc. FWIW, i actually *enjoy* "Who Dunnit?", "Me & Virgil", "Say It's Alright Joe", the entire "From Genesis to Revelation" album -- i.e., the stuff other fans sometimes have trouble getting into. Now that i'm older though i just appreciate this song for what it is -- a nice pleasant and breezy pop song, you know?
@@trevorsong3054 When a song lands number 1 it doesn’t mean everyone has to like it does it? I do agree the song is so much better live but that’s with every song by Genesis
I love that these guys are secure enough to wear dad jeans on stage.
hah yes
In those days they were just jeans 😬.
I dunno about Mike or Daryl but I know Phil Collins was a Dad! so yeah he was wearing Dad Jeans for sure! 😆😆😆
Awesome Phil. Yesterday tomorrow and always !! Love your music and you !!! ✌😉🎤❤🇺🇸🇬🇧💚🎼🎵🎶
the day phil said "fuck up your life" its so much better then the clean version!!!!!
Hell yeah!
Also you know in the original lyrics he said “mess up your life”, right?
Also it’s at 2:37 where he said it.
Amazing, I wish I could have been there to witness this iconic tour!!!! I have the live album from this tour, it rocks!!!!!
Saw this tour at Dodger Stadium 1992! Freaking awesome
Tony= a very laid back keyboard player, Chester, excellent drummer, Phil is the MAN!
Tony owns this song!
Bass player is insanely good.
sticksman1979 Daryl Stuermer
Classic. When the 80s refused to die into the early 90s.
Still superb after all these years love both the ‘86 and 92’ versions especially the subtle lyric change in the latter. Thank you for sharing.
djdansun i was watching this on dvd a few years back and i was like what did he say. I rewound it and yep he really said that.
Hiittingnote Nash Vegas I’m hoping to see them again touchwood December in Birmingham be interesting to see if he will drop the f-word again
djdansun i wonder why the word change. Lol. I think Phil even said verbatim when he talked about the song in the 2007 Invisible touch reissue.
djdansun that would be awesome to see them live and it might be the last time.
Hiittingnote Nash Vegas yes I’ll capture the moment on video Hopefully
That Bass... JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESUS
Missed you man,, missed your days
What I like the most about them is that, they did not need to wear suits to go on stage...They wore only jeans and common t-shirts... They are so humble people! And I personally adore Phill Collins!

Amazing raw talent on that stage, the front three group is amazing how they jam out. Drummer makes it look effortless too

+uanderson rocha Com certeza, os ingressos se esgotaram em 15 segundos no último show dele com o Gênesis.

My only complaint is that the sound on here isn't that great. I mean I REALLY have to turn up the volume to get it to medium levels. It's very quiet.
❤
superb

not a very good song but it hit #1 in the US in 1986? OK, whatever.
Well i think the best pop song was land of confusion
