AWESOME!🥰 My Autistic, biracial student arrived in my classroom with her hair literally matted to her scalp. 😢 Mom just couldn't manage it. The first couple of attempts to comb her hair...she could be heard screaming all over the building. The other teachers complained, the Principal was unsympathetic, other students AND ADULTS laughed at her appearance. 😪 Special Ed teachers said..."It's not in her IEP to comb her hair just leave her alone" I could Not allow her to be made fun of. God led me to the right hair products, I gave her a mirror to watch the process, put on some soft music and eventually she Loved getting herself all pretty with bows, ribbons, etc. She independently went and got her little stool And products and would sit down and wait for me to come over to her! THANK YOU, GOD! NO LONGER THE JOKE OF THE SCHOOL. Sorry this comment is so long! Keep up the good work. Patience and Perseverance. 🥰🙏

I love it!! Just a few tips that may make it even easier. Add some of your shampoo and a lil water to a dye application bottle with the nozzle and squeeze unto her scalp (it make it easier to access her scalp). Also after you apply the conditioner it's easier to detangle with the conditioner in. After detangling put about 4 large twist or loose braids and rinse conditioner out with the twist/braids intact. Once you get ready to moisturize and seal you won't have to detangle again. Hope that makes sense.

Thank you for teaching Mikko how beautiful her hair is. She doesn’t understand yet because she’s a little one but when she grows up, she’ll see how you cherished her hair. I’m mixed and I wasn’t taught that and learned late to love my hair . Great job mom 😊❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • @AzizaMiller

Who washes your oldest daughter's hair? Does she wash it herself? Maybe Mikko could also watch her sister getting her hair washed as further motivation...

  • @kaidevaleria2531

Seeing her pour water on her face by herself you can see how far she’s come. Mikko is doing really well

As a 33 year old neurotypical woman, I wouldn't mind sitting in a pool and letting someone else wash my hair. This seems very therapeutic 🤔

Wow . That was so kind of Beyonce & team to send the products to you. So glad it worked, and I loved when Mikko was washing her baby dolls hair and Mikko told her baby doll "good job," so sweet.

Come thru Beyonce!! Been following your hair journey for awhile now. Soooooooo happy for your success!!!! It's so amazing to see how far you have come with getting Mikko settled while having her hair done!! So glad Cecred works so well! ❤❤❤

  • @misskitty976

Your posts are so important. Maybe we should be this tender and gentle with all children.

  • @vonnievee

This is so great to see. She was talking so well & participating so much! Well done to you both & let's hear it for Beyonce too! 😊

  • @CWengrovius1420

You did a great job with her hair. She was so calm & comfy when taking her bath with her dolly to work on during it while you washed & conditioners your daughters hair. She is so adorable & beautiful little girl.

  • @gaylahall2880

I’ve watched all of the videos with you grooming Mikko’s hair and I never seen so calm and peaceful and patient like she was in this video. I loved it when I heard her say, good job to her baby doll as she washed her hair. My heart ❤️ was so elated and happy for her. That was a wonderful idea to have her wash her baby doll hair along with you while doing her hair. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

  • @Maria-dq2ig

I love how gentle you are with your daughter and you try your best to make her feel comfortable as much as possible. I wish people can be more kind and sensitive in their comments to you

  • @StarseedUp

Mom you deserve all the gentle support on this amazing journey you're showing the world. 🥰😍

The fact that you can detangle her hair with so much ease! I wish, I had this as a kid.

  • @abigaildoria1246

So happy that you are having good luck with Mikko with bath time still, and her with hair. So happy for you both!
