So the only awareness I had of this song was from the trailer for Freejack (1991 sci-fi movie starring Emilio Estevez, Renee Russo, Mick Jagger & Anthony Hopkins) I saw when I was a kid. I had literally never heard this song in full...only a 5 or 10 second snippet. A couple of weeks ago, Freejack popped into my head randomly and I decided to go back to finally watch the movie. Then this song popped up from the deepest darkest recesses of my memory due to its association with Freejack. And here I am, 20:40pm, 21st of May, 2018 finally hearing this song in full for the first time ever. LOL!
The human memory is amazing. I had a similar experience recently, whereby I suddenly remembered (for no apparent reason), a documentary i had watched over 10 years ago. Couldn't remember the title or channel upload, just the content. A quick TH-cam search later. And I was happy to find it, just where I left it. Memory, such a funny thing. But proof that no memory is ever erased, just forgotten.
The stiff-looking figure in a dark suit (later in a strait jacket) is Steve Abrams who was the brains behind the 1967 Times (London) SOMA advert "The law against marijuana is immoral in principle and unworkable in practice"
High budget for 1987. Just look at the set, props, extras, costumes and smoke effects. There is even a groovy animation. Branson and Virgin Records must of splashed out for once on a PIL video!
@yep up until now, no vaccination, can give you back your reputation. And all video in the hospital he plays crazy doctor ready to cut anyone to do abortion and take daughter from mother telling her that she will be fine, while main part is we want your body. You sure you know what song is about?
@yep Johny was always against anything, so definitely if he sings about hospital so to say, he is against it. He sang about politics most of the time, but here he understands that hospitals are part of politics (better to say they do same s. little good little bad) and all this plandemic is political game. So yes, in one way he predicted what is coming. Like in the song: God save the queen she ain't no human being. Maybe try listening to Ramones, they are also rebellious but little softer and you could understand them better
The funny side of John and the british kind of humour.... a good song....timeless
This is such a great track. John looks cool in his hospital gear.
Giving the medical industrial complex every bit of the respect it is due.
I think one of my favorites from PIL.
The PIL Quality Song Classics
I saw this video first in 1989. Great...

More relevant than ever.
It's funny how it's more relevant now than it ever was, but this song could literally NEVER be released today
Brilliant💥💥💥💥
Adorei as diferentes lentes da fotografia monocromática. Puro cinema!
O diretor do musical do clipe é Richard Stanley, que já é diretor de cinema

***** true
Anyone else introduced to this song via Beavis & Butthead?
The first fucking comment!
God save the PIL!
Ah, this sounds like he's chanting this song, not singing it. Unless you really listen to these words, it's untengible. And I like it
John predicted the pandemic 🤒🤣😄
@yep don't listen this music when you don't understand it
Yes he knows everything, about medical fascism and it's amazing that he made this song long time ago. Like God save the queen 1977

Pretty bad...! (song & video). You can tell that John thought he was old. Even though he was only 31/32 at the time...
Dude's been through much
Italo musik lover spotted
Ok I'm being honest but John Lydon is quere
Jhonny Rotten making some bad music.
Just being his own regular Johnny. He was a weird guy in his own world. He didn't care of what people would think and still he is loved by so many
Probably made when using fetuses for stem cell research began t be all the rage in the press, i remember that way
