I’m right with you!! I keep thinking I will find some that I like, then feel like I look so ridiculous in them!! They have been around for so long. I see teenagers that essentially have the entire front of the Jean missing - I cannot even imagine that that is comfortable. (Sorry for the rant, Joan!)

I’m your height and pants have been short on me always. Can’t deal if they are too short and in the seventies I think everything was made to fit a 5’5” person. Don’t get me started on the ripped jeans? I’ve either patched or thrown away my sons pants back in the day can’t see paying for the privilege.

I really like the top with the green pattern and I also like the white jacket. I’m not a fan of a lot of distressing on jeans, but I’m 66 so maybe that’s just me. I’ve got mustard coloured 3/4-length trousers and I prefer them to a very bright yellow.

I really enjoy your hauls videos! Just a point on the sound, and perhaps it is only myself that notices, but the microphone is picking up the sound of your necklace rubbing against it.
It is not just you! I am trying to fix the footage that I have, but no more necklaces. I also struggle clipping it to certain necklines. I think that a new microphone is in the cards in the near future!

No, 29" won't work for you on jeans (crops or capris, maybe...). I am 5'4" and that is the length I would wear...
RE the white top - try it again with your beige bra. It will definitely look better.
The distressed jeans are a bit TOO distressed (personal taste...).
The yellow pants look a bit short, but they look good with the white shirt. BUT if you have to pick one, I would go for the top as it will be more flexible than the yellow jeans.

Ouuu I've wanted to try Wantable too. I normally loooove a wrap/faux wrap dress but agree the sleeves seemed weird on this one. Like it was almost there, but just not quite. I really liked the cream/white denim jacket. I think it could be so versatile with so many styles.

I love your videos. I am 5'10.5" and a 22-24 in tops and a 24-26 in bottoms. I am in the process of losing weight and when I get a size down I will order Stitch Fix and Wantable.

There are some good brands out there that go over that 22-24 (Torrid, Bloomchic, Lane Bryant, CurveSoul, etc). But have learned from experience that there are so many more options at the 3x 22/24 size. You’ve got this, Jess!! I’m here for you!

I do not like distressed pants or on anything else. And I don't like the frayed hems. I just want a pair of pants that fit me and I like. I'm a new subscriber here and have enjoyed watching your unboxings. I was a 3X until last December when I had to be in a skilled nursing nursing facility after I got COVID from being in the regular hospital and couldn't eat, everything was awful. Now I'm wearing XL. I get a lot of really nice clothes and shoes from Amazon and mostly don't need to send them back. I was really into tropical and Hawaiian prints.🌸🌴 A lot of the clothing is made in China and very inexpensive, but you need to watch if they charge you shipping. I have a whole new wardrobe, mostly dresses, pants and tops, and have spent about $1,500. There are a lot of clothes in the many $ range.

Maybe you could tell your stylist that you don't want distressed jeans at all, or only lightly distressed. I would also measure the inseam on a pair of pants that have the length you want, and tell Meredith that is what you are looking for.

I just talked about that in my last video! I am over capacity! I do have a really have a pretty large closet, but I’m currently bringing in new things every week (where I used to once or twice a year!). I have a pretty good place for formal gowns to go, but I think I’m going to get my daughter to help me do a Poshmark or something this summer in her free time.
I really enjoy making content and discovering new brands, but I am going to have to pivot from building my wardrobe to discovering new things!

You have a 29" inch inseam??? So jealous. I'm 5'4" and have a 25" inseam. Even petite inseams are usually too long for me, so I have to look for cropped jeans most of the time.
My best brand is Levi's high rise slim cut raw edge jeans, but they're getting hard to find😢
Have you tried the active bundle yet? Polyester is much cooler than cotton, which is the reason runners wear polyester shirts to run in. It’s also why no one wears cotton socks unless they enjoy blisters. 😄 I bet the active bundle would have many items to keep you cool and chafe-free this summer!
Tina- that is awesome information. I need to try an active bundle! Have you received one? Was there some good stuff in there? I have a fabletics membership, so it might be cool to compare them!
While clothing made from cotton is more cooling and breathable, it also absorbs perspiration. Athletic clothing is made from polyester because it doesn't absorb the sweat. For everyday wear in the summer heat, natural fibres are most comfortable.

Polyester wicks sweat away from your body and it evaporates to keep you cool and comfortable - no wetness, no sweat stains, no chafing, just breathable comfort. Runners wear wicking polyester, CoolMax, Capilene, and ArcticCool polyester tops and shorts. 👍🏻

I know this is an older video, but I recently found you and have been watching your old vids. 2 comments: possibly the yellow pants had a typo on your card and was meant to say Raw cut, not Raw cuf? Also, a shirt hanging out under a jacket is perfectly acceptable, and rather cute in my opinion. I live in Michigan and that has been the style for years now. I liked the cotton top. Im in Az and I avoid polyester in the summer. But $89? Ouch. That's an expensive box. I'm looking forward to your Torrid v LB try on. I have a shape like yours in that my shoulders are broader than my hips. Ruffles are not my friend.
I really want to love ruffles- but on the shoulder like that- nope, I’m a full out 🧱 🏠! When I went to check out the dolman top was $67, which honestly still feels high, but is so much better! I think that the MSRP is similar to Torrid and Lb, but I NEVER pay full price at either store!

I have just found your channel on TH-cam and I'm loving you unboxings! (Is that a word?). I am hearing you use the term surplus on several videos. But I think you mean surplice when you are referring to a type of fabric? Am I right or is surplus a type of fabric, too?

I didn't love the selection of clothes that they did, I don't like the grey that they chose for the cardigan 😅 I only liked the cherry-blossom top but I think the fit should be better for the money they are charging for it.

I’ll be honest here. Those pieces are way overpriced. Do you have a Ross or TJ Max near you? I’m ok with a little distressing but holes where your panties show is way too much. I think the yellow pants just accented your belly area. Maybe with a long black v neck tunic they would be ok. The gray cardigan looked small on you. I think that cardigans, sweaters, jackets should meet in the front. If they have buttons or zipper fronts they should zip or button with no gaping. Those 2 tops looked skimpy. You needed more length and I agree that the multi colored to made you look wide across the shoulders. The only item from this box that looked like it fit you well was the dress. It looked so pretty on you.
