    While I love playing Teclis, I cannot deny that Tyrion's campaign is just so comfortable. Amazing faction buffs, good starting position, strong duelist for annoying characters like Malus and Vlad.

    Pretty much was at war with all the orc factions, made friends with the vampires, and Cathay, economy was rough but dam once I got his dragon, Imrik is a beast. Actively looked for high level lords to go up against. His campaign is a pain and I've lost the campaign more times than I won. Nevertheless, I enjoy that huge dragon.

      Imrik's campaing is a lot of fun, it may be hard, but if its easy I want I'm gonna play call of duty, not total war ;)

    Malekith, Mazdamundi and Tyrion are the leaders of their respective races in TW WH, yet they are the most bland... they should really get an update

      Right? My favorite races are the High Elves and Lizardmen but I prefer Alith Anar and Gor-Rok over the actual leaders of those factions

      Honestly I think it makes the most sense that way. You need someone as the 'base' experience for all factions

    I did not know Alith Anar was that good, I gotta try him out thx for sharing this man

    Nobody mentions the title lords and heroes get at level 15 with Eltharion. Its awesome

    Imrik is by far my favorite High Elf Lord. Starts with a dragon and a fire mage. His start position is not bad. Ogres on the East and Karak Azul dwarves on the West can both become good allies. Craventail to the North can be defeated easily early game, provided your rush him. By mid game, Imrik becomes pretty much a one man army.

    The hardest part of imrik is if greenskins declare war on u, you will have 1 army and they’ll have 4-5 armies and it’s pretty much over

    • @makeytgreatagain6256
      @makeytgreatagain6256 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      archers spears and corner camping can take out 3 GS armies with ease. the problem is if you let GS live to late game then they get Black Orcs which are IMO the most busted anti Inf unit in the game with GS buffs at that point the spam will == GG but early game should be easy to beat skaven and GS with Corner camp and archers. Try being Skrolk in Lustria fighting LM, VC and DE and even minor HE faction, thats hell esp with missile nerf and AI dodging catapults like neo from matrix. IMO his early and Mid game is harder than Karl franz and Katarin which weren't hard tbh

      @@makeytgreatagain6256 battles doesn’t matter, in the campaign u won’t be able to defend all your settlements, they won’t send all their armies to your army they will spread out so u won’t be able to defend all of them

    • @makeytgreatagain6256
      @makeytgreatagain6256 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@eternal_dread666 I am able to defend all my settlements cos I build walls everywhere and if I cannot get to the settlement if it’s too far away I summon an general at said location and then hire all regiments of renown to defend the home. Usually this is enough to smash anything come @ me. I may play an Imrik campign soon go see what the hype is but so far I’m dissapointed with people overhyping the hardness of Kislev and Empire when it’s not hard. I completed all of the empire in 6 hours and the hardest part I had was beating Festus in early game and beating Kemmler late game in his little mountain province. Belive it or not but he’s VERY HARD to beat there, I had to choke point him and even then the battle lasted about an hour so many troops got involved was a amazing huge battle.
      Skaven are a nightmare to deal with though so I can see why Imrik has some issue due to that AIDS cancer stalk stance which Skaven do not need anymore but as I said be careful and you can beat that and Orcs are a pain but as long as it’s not Grom or late game you should be fine

    Disagree on Imrik. While yes, the start is tough he can get massive faction wide buffs from Dragon sightings. In addition, he has the best climate profile, only issue is Frozen being uninhabitable. Once Imrik is on Minaithnir and you have dragons in your army any opposing force can offer only token resistance.

    Alariele has probably best faction effects (tier 3 -1 turn sisters and tier 3 handmaidens with hire everywhere from same building) and very safe starting position. Or next best after Eltharion.
    But she herself is worse than a generic lord. Weaker than an archmage in melee on best mounts available (let alone actual melee lords) and worse in magic too (limited spell selection, no archmage magic cost buff, greater conduit or bound chain lighting). Slightly improved blue skill line compared to default (healing in 1st tier). Very mediocre legendary items. Hell, even a fire mage hero is eventually better at both melee and magic (HE fire mages get a dragon mount, unlike every other lore). The only saving grace as lategame lord is +15% damage for sisters.

    I don't agree with Tyrion at spot 2. Both Alith Anar and Alarielle are better. Even Imrik is debatable. Starting with a Wizard is a lot better than having a decent melee lord. Stalk stance is stupidly broken ability and he gets it for all armies, not just his own. You are mixing and matching what you are valuing. Basically you say Tyrion has amazing faction wide buffs but when you get them with Tyrion you would have much better ones with both Alith Anar and Alarielle. The early game with both of those is easier since one is a mage and the other has stalk stance. Imriks start is harder but his faction gets better bonuses later. Agree with Eltharion though.

    Most peeps over look Alith Anar / Nagarythe. My personal favorite faction do to the mechanics. I only wish CA would give him a bit more attention, add to his unique building by adding new units that play well with the shadow units skirmish style.

  • @Gojo1911

    Imrik‘s campaign is tricky, but it‘s one of the most entertaining HE campaigns imo. Hence, I can‘t agree with the opinion in the video

    Teclis does not need to send agent to donut. His quest battle gets there faster.

    • @hz841
      @hz841 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, teclis has a huge advantage early game: once he is leveled 18 ish he does not need an army even on legendary/VH; his archmage Lord starts level 6. So he can split army and expand multi directions faster than the other HE.

    Bruh what imrik is literally the best. You have like 5 legendary dragons plus he's on a dragon so you just fly around with dragons dragon your balls on everyones face
