Why not take Har Kaldra on turn 1 and peace out with skaven (with them paying)? In WH3 making peace doesn't seem to ruin your reliability anymore. It may delay Ghrond plans by 1 turn, but I'm not sure how much of an issue this is. Also it seems like I need to remove Valkia early no matter what. Even I take Ghrond before she can, she has nowhere to go but attack me. Or maybe Hellebron, but that's also bad. Skaven/Grombrindal/Orcs are further and unlikely targets. And she ruins territories wherever she goes. Unlike, for example dwarves, who if left alone for a while, will develop nice lootable cities. Plus, as far as I understand, in WH3 you don't have to deal with inevitable chaos tide spawning in your backyard, it's only one of many possible endgame scenarios. So cleaning up the map corner is more valuable than it was in WH2.
I'm thinking of starting a Malekith campaign and then rush the shrine of Asuryan to rightfully rule over all of the elves, using the diplomatic bonuses...
@@nikewilly8404 Well... emotionally he kinda did. He attacked when he shouldn't have, and had he calculated that move, he probably wouldn't have made it. Malekith made a calculated decision... a wrong one.

The dual sword variant rip it up. Handbows are pointless because darkshards just beat them. Handbows are great vs lizards and khorne though! The sword corsair anti-infantry+armour make them insanely cost effective vs bleaksword/dreadspears which is why they are good. They can take on those units 3v1.

Gorequeen, depending on the AI descisions, can act as your early game baddie as you consolidate dark elf lands

Malekith had the guts and stupidity to step into the fire. Anakin was just off-balance due to his anger.

I didn't use black Ark corsairs (dual weapon or handbow) my entire campaign, are they just really good against other dark elves?

It doesn't work well with his voice due to the effects it has by default. Morathi would sound great though.
