Today I found out one of my friends passed away. One Of the last concerts he enjoyed was Goose. The last words we shared was the peace he’d made with his past on a mushroom trip and this band. I’d never heard of Goose, so today I’m listening to this in his memory.
I showed this to my high school students, who are engrained to hate anything teachers show them (lol), and they were all like, "What is this??" I said it's Goose, baby!!!
I'd love to see a video about your production crew. Your musicianship is undeniable, but the Goose "package" goes beyond that, into areas no other band has ever ventured. You post the highest quality videos of your live gigs. The audio mix is remarkable...bass, guitars, keys, percussion, vocals, all mixed to perfection, something especially incredible for a live performance. And the light show...holy shit. The production quality from start to finish and bottom to top is second to none. Let's meet your crew.
The super hard deep low bass you hear momentarily during a part of last night, I forgot which song- but that sound is from the bassist ringing low notes as well as Jeff the percussionist playing didgeridoo at a matching frequency. That monent tho. 🤯
Ha, same! Ever since their west coast fall tour, something special has taken over (and I've seen them before). I wake up with a new Goose song in my head every morning and I love it!
Thanks to Spotify for helping me discover Goose - can't get enough of them now, and absolutely love these live sets on YT! You're never too old to discover new talent (say a child of the 70's). 😍
Beautiful, I've heard some of best musicians,72yrs oid.these guys are the best band I've heard in years.they have it all.you just can't plan this music, it's organic
First show! Definitely lived up to the hype. Great band, incredible playing. It was fun going to a concert where I didn't know any of the songs. Helped me just focus on the music and what they were playing.
This is masterful Goose. Slow Ready is one of my favorites ever since Goedde and the fellas blew my mind at South Farms. Holy Laser Beams. See you in Philly on the 12th!
Peter changed the speed of the loop at 12:32 then the key at 12:40 so they could jam around for 7 minutes, then flawlessly flow into hot tea at 19:17. A subtle and very genius move! Love this band!
Was my first chance to finally see these guys, along with most our crew and the whole building too... energy was amazing and it felt great to be back at a show, deep in a crowd and the band brought the goods... we'll all be coming back for more!
Wow! What a nice groove these guys got going on. I used to tour heavy back in the day with the electronic seen 98-2003, with bisco when they were bisco, lotus amongst other super electronic bands. these guys fit the bill. I will definitely go see some of their shows. That drop about the 10:50 just brought back such great nostalgia of late night tents back in the day.
I love when a Goose jam is straight up different from the main part of the song. Like obvi you can hear the progression but I like the fast jam after Slow Ready.
I dont know if you guys take requests but I think you could wreck face on life is a carnival. Every since I first heard it like 15 years ago. I've been waiting to see a good band cover it. I'll be in Buffalo on 6/8. So excited to see you guys. I'm bringing a crew of 5 first timers. Including me.

I’d never heard of Goose,

Sorry for your loss. Glad he was able to find peace.
Glad he found peace in the end bro.
I showed this to my high school students, who are engrained to hate anything teachers show them (lol), and they were all like, "What is this??" I said it's Goose, baby!!!
The keyboards (what-have-you-electronics) on repeat, is oddly amazing. It's EDM meets Phish? IDK. It's Millennial vibe for sure. ✌🏽
I’m at teacher too. My kids always ask what I like for music and my answer is always Goose.
That transition from slow ready jam into hot tea was butter.
I’d call it biscuits. Just because that’s what I prefer to put my jam on.
Chasing satellites...
It was Butta, but not like all the way melted you know .. it was decent.
Don’t go e them any ideas otherwise their next song will be named “butter”
Super buttery. Agreed.

agreed 100 percent. Amazing crew they have. What a band, I feel grateful to be able to enjoy this art.
Absolutely. Top to bottom their production is top notch
how they turned one out so fast is beyond me.

Well said!
Everything about this 38 minutes is absolute bliss
That transition was PHENOMENAL
Came here to say the same thing!
I have not listened to anything but Goose for 2 months. I'm in another dimension!!! Gooose
Same but 2 years straight 🤣
Yup I've listened to this video Abt 3 times today! Fuego!!
Lol same but right now man!!!!
Seriously, I was introduced to them in August, and it's been almost nothing but Goose in my ears since.

agree 100%, me too.
Now that’s what we call a goosed up transition 💯💯💯💯💯🍄
Goose is one of a hand full of bands that absolutely needs a gong. 10:41
Finally got to see these guys at THIS show, and this second set opener made my whole night!
The entire second set of this show was mind blowing. Best time of my life.
Duuuuuude wow this is nuts. Going to see goose in 3 days for the first time, super excited to see it live finally

Aaaaaaand????
First time hearing these guys, what a jam! Gonna check out more of them!
That note Rick hits starting at 10:52...oh man. I swear it drives right into my soul every time I hear it.
GOEDDE killed it w/ the lights too!
This is my very first exposure to this band. This is absolutely amazing. Such great textures being created
That transition, so heady.. just when your mesmerized by the lights etc .. that bass rips your soul apart
Beautiful, I've heard some of best musicians,72yrs oid.these guys are the best band I've heard in years.they have it all.you just can't plan this music, it's organic
Absolutely nailed it synchronicity on a Suttle yet powerful expression of giving time sound
This is absolutely stellar. I keep finding myself being blow away by these guys.
Great performance! Thanks much for sharing. with love from Saitama Japan

Still can’t get over that second set! Legendary Show!
This is masterful Goose. Slow Ready is one of my favorites ever since Goedde and the fellas blew my mind at South Farms. Holy Laser Beams. See you in Philly on the 12th!
I’m complete sober right now, but this makes me feel like I’m lounging on a cloud, drifting by Everest. WELL DONE GOOOOOSE!
Went to both shows at the 930 Club hoping for Hot Tea - guess it's time to quit my job and follow Goose.
I feel this on a cellular level. Are we doing this?
Please have your lighting person do a rig rundown!!! PLEASE!!! :)

Fkn A right
Man... ikr
😂 wow! That's true.
Was my first chance to finally see these guys, along with most our crew and the whole building too... energy was amazing and it felt great to be back at a show, deep in a crowd and the band brought the goods... we'll all be coming back for more!
Was my 6th and a half time seeing them lol. Slow happy yall stayed in and saw th light🔥♾🎶
I can’t stop listening to this
First goose show I’ve ever attended. This is simply amazing.
Same! Wish it would have been anywhere but the Fillmore. Place is absolutely terrible when they pack too many people in there like they did.
The way it drops back in @19:15 ~ phenomenal!
Slow Ready always produces such jaw-dropping jams. What a thing these guys have created.
Please come back to Charlotte soon
It’s such a blessing to have these guys jam out. Can’t believe how much they’ve grown in such a short time. Sky’s the limit.
I saw them at a bar in 2019 with aqueous and there was maybe 50 people there!!
@@OFWGKTAdontgiveafuck insane level of growth super exciting
@@OFWGKTAdontgiveafuck that must have been absolutely insane!
This mix never fails to leave me feeling lighter and happier. Love goose!!!
The light guy really just takes this band to another level. What a show!
Goedde's really been outdoing himself recently
Wow! What a nice groove these guys got going on. Bisco is on absolute fire right now!
cant stop watching this. That transition is unreal
Same. Going on almost two weeks straight LOL. The transition hits me everytime, and that first lick of Hot Tea is so perfectly placed.
Pure badassery 🎸🎶🎶🎵🎵🎼.
Real!!!!!
I love when a Goose jam is straight up different from the main part of the song. Like obvi you can hear the progression but I like the fast jam after Slow Ready.
I've watched this so many times over the past few days. Incredible. Can't wait to see you guys in Lewiston.
The exact reason you go see live shows!!
Wow…just wow. I am amazed by this.
WONDERFUL!!!!!!!
This is awesome futuristic sounds amazing
most layered transition i have heard. absolute heat!!!
Love this band
Bass and drums and their dynamics and tightness drive this band.
I try to focus on a different instrument every time I listen
That goes for every band, brother :)
I saw you all for the first time on CBS Mornings and I love this song.
cant wait to hear more perfectly blended segues from this band
This is amazing. New Goose fan here 👋 🪿
So in love with this song and version!
First Goose show I ever went to and I wasn’t disappointed! Definitely won’t be my last show neither!
Thank you for the opener. Honey Bee. #goosedroppings

Hot Tea is so tight it hurts.
My heart!! * grabs chest
Magic. Boys brought something back from the west coast
Just a banger.
My First Goose show!!
Leave some poon for the rest of us, Peter.
Astonishing.
When the bass line returns after the pause at 33:07 . Nice moment.
What a way to kick off a 2nd set.
Amazing Show! See you at Radio City and Denver!
Amazing show last night guys, thank you 🙏🏼
Please release this whole show on vinyl
ps. The Man with the Fan saved us all. Man it was fucking hot. It was hotter than Jeff's spliff at set break!!! grin
he was much needed. That venue was awful
My favorite jam for a while now. I keep coming back to it. What a special night!
These cats are crisp...
Flat gittin' it!!
So much fire!
Goosemas was fun but it’s nice to see Rick back in a t shirt
I just seen your band on CBS Saturday morning. You guys are hot. You really make me rock and roll without a doubt. Now I'm going to buy your album.
Crushed It Goose! 🤘🔥
Same here!
The good stuff 🔥🤙
Me: oh sweet, new goose on TH-cam
Goose: "started 36 minutes ago"
Me: holy hot tea jam guys 🔥🔥🔥
I’m trying see that new song y’all played from the DC show
Sick light show and def a fav version of slow ready. Pretty sure I just got pregnant.
That literally made me lol. Thanks for that
Lmao 🤙🏻
Anyone else get those “your pet cat” vibes from the tea jam? Phish busted out the GOAT version in Mexico as far as I’m concerned.
pretty sure school is out, for your notes gang... that's a professional segue. dang.
This is such fire. But peters front facing keyboard set up is cracking me up
Please release the Dallas, TX from Nov 13, 2021 on TH-cam and come back soon!
Welp, this will be on repeat for a minute.
Thanks ✅
