Selections from Goose's 4th and 5th set at Beanstalk 2019 4th set: Yeti → Electric Avenue (Eddie Grant) 5th set: Arcadia → Hot Tea more at: goosetheband.com
In this era of controversy and animosity, somehow the Goose video comments are one of the few places where everyone can come together and agree on how really, really, good these guys are. Warms the heart.
Bro that man absolutely kills it! Whether on keys or guitar, nothing short of brilliant! Whole band is extraordinary but he's definitely one bad mother
42 months ago you could stand close enough to the stage to be sweat on by Rick, and now these guys are the clear and deserving emergent overlords of jam. Good for you, guys.
Dotted eight delay on Yeti is killer and takes me back to the Freddy Jones Band days. Electric Avenue such an awesome cover that reminds me some of The Killers. Pulling cool sounds from The Police/Killers/Phish/Biscuits/Stevie Wonder and others and are writing some great original music! Please keep the singing and songwriting a focus. The drummer is amazing. Most exciting new jam band in at least a decade for me!
This festival was in the middle of the mountains. No service for an hour in any direction. Even still, great show. They played "tweener sets" between mainstage artists. Played like 6 sets that day. I ended up recharging during main stage artists to rage Goose for 45 mins at a time.
I've been Goosed. Definitely my vote for the heir apparent in the jam scene. I came of age during the height of Phish's cow funk phase, and these guys do it nearly as well, with all the buildup and release and the dancey grooves in the low spots. Love everything I'm hearing and this is my favorite vid, Yeti, Arcadia and Hot Tea all in one tasty bite?
These guys are cool they definitely have their own style. I was at that island tour cavern encore 4/5/98 that was just funky it was prodigious level creativity that combination isn't going to be seen again like miles Davis always said first idea best idea otherwise you're trying to play like something so it sounds familiar instead of its own unique unheard of brilliance. Lots of upbeat major chords it's upbeat music. Phish had little more ominous and time dark sound in 90s no better or worse just different
Have heard nothing but GOLD come out of these kids, they have, without a doubt traded something to the devil himself for this talent and connection... ALL HAIL GOOSE!
Could not agree more!! The dead’s always gonna have that special place in my heart but the scene still gets kinda stale after awhile of the same tunes! Gotta spice it up a bit, and that’s exactly what Goose is doing; love em!
Somehow I feel that goose will be following my travels quite soon. Not sure why they would follow me so closely but I found the same phenomenon with the dead.
Such a fantastic little set...always my go too set for why I need reminding of how good they are. All the new stuff is like a pick and mix of where they're going but this is peak early Goose at their finest.
These are freaking amazing, love them, they are going to take over the Jam Band screen, everything about them. I am looking forward to seeing them at more festivals and love in NY. Guys lease keep it up and create more of this amazing music.
Yeti sounds like a modern disco, with some prog and good ideias. Very cool. Love the jam and guitar solo too. Very good band with healthy references from the 70's. Goose, my new favorite band.
After the July 3 show at the Stone Pony this past summer, I am a full blown Goose convert and regret not giving them more attention earlier. But, better late than never!
Don't know about that phish kicked ass in deer Creek last week but I'm seeing goose this Sunday on the white river so we shall see if it's anywhere near as clean as this I'll be grateful.
That transition right after the seven minute mark is so seamless, cohesive, smooth, delicate, and beautiful. You guys work together so god damn well. It’s so inspiring. You’re on the same page and sensitive to where your mates want to go with it. And again, not a single cell phone in the air! I love it! One more thing... I remember first hearing Electric Avenue and thinking “someone has to jam the fuck out of this” and here you are, jamming the fuck out of this.
Damn ok goose i gotchu i actually clicked on a song i guess was on gta like wtf but figured i give them one more shot clicked a hot tea really glad i did these guys are pretty damn nasty
0:00 is when it gets good
Until 29:04

This Yeti is the heat, good God almighty what a blazing hot sequence of songs here
Goodness. What a fantastic flow of phonics friend.
That was quite crusty
Angela giorno
Some of the best percussion and bass in the game. They can hold and go something fierce!
I didn’t see a single cell phone in the air this whole video. That says something about Goose. Can’t wait to see where this goes.

The sign of an amazing band and a chill af crowd.
Hello to everyone in 2023, still rocking this set.

Could not agree more. These guys tore the house down in their late night sets at Playing in the Sand in January!
Goose is goose phish is phish man listen to their own unique characteristics and enough with the damn comparisons already lolz

@@goosethebandjust a heads-up, not ever song has to be 15+ minutes. Especially when it's mind numbingly repetitive.
@@radagastbrown9001don't listen then!
Goose is so incredible it’s mind blowing. My favorite jam band hands down besides the dead of course.

The dead is like a dead goose while Goose is like well...a live goose

Stumbled on this band while at my local nursery looking for a dogwood.. heard Time to Flee and Soundhounded them.. Very Nice.
Thanks for posting.
HELL yes. Welcome aboard!
Electric Ave. gives me Goose bumps.
Is this the most under rated band in the world? That was incredible!
Yeti sounds like a modern disco, with some prog and good ideias. Very cool. Love the jam and guitar solo too. Very good band with healthy references from the 70's. Goose, my new favorite band.
Prog is never so repetitive.

I am in awe. I just want to go preach the good news of Goose.
It's difficult to hold it in after vids like this one for sure. Been saturating my friends with shares for months.
And I just found out that they are from Belgium! Who would ever thought!
THEY are from Connecticut. There is a Belgian EDM band also but not the same

You all are Awesome!
25:32 goes straight from piano shred to guitar shred just incredible
Hearing a Freddy Jones band influence in Yeti, that delay arpeggio riff could be straight off the FJB live album.
Fantastic! Thank you, shared.
My new favorite band. Glad my recently viewed Phish and Grateful Dead videos recommended them.
Bad ass so awesome I love u guys
7:07 E Ave, 14:03 Arcadia

UNBELIEVABLE. WOW. Anybody else initially think they were booing at the end? I was about to jump through the screen lol.

Probably the best 4 song lineup in Goosestory
Seattle tonight!
They sound like Phish, Moe. and Lotus had a baby.
...and that baby has a moustache!
So sick!!!
heard 30 seconds and they sound like goose.
That's a pretty accurate assumption lol
Actually the baby was born with a stache and FULL BEARD (which was removed at circumcision)
I was just telling my brother they are like phish and lotus cross bred...with an added element of uniqueness.
