Can you try night harvester or imperial mandate? I think they would be good with first strike, free boots, futures market, cosmic insight, cheap shot, ingenious hunter, Q -> E -> W max (since funny ap max dmg build) After mythic -> Sorc shoes, rabadons, shadowflame/morello, void staff (But this is pretty similar to what you build already anyway) (Might not be the best build but it definitely makes your q hit hard which is funny)

aatrox suddenly got viable and had a lot of players right before getting reworked. asol barely had anyone play him at all, and the few who did were turned off by the change on his W. i doubt there will be as much drama around this rework

Cryo. You gotta try one of my fave theory craft builds. Hybrid thresh has dps and burst. My build path is Stormrazor first, into resistance or mythic depending on the situation. Witts end 2nd feels nice. Deaths dance isn't as necessary, but it could be good. I love getting mythic 3rd now, since mythic rushes are overrated. I love the 3 item spike and actually getting value out of the mythic passive when I firdt buy it. Anyways I get rocketbelt for mostly the burst, but also a nice gapclose and some health. You could also go Abyssal or Maw for MR, and thornmail is good for scaling thorns. Void if they have mr, and horizon if you have a lot of damage, ect. It has it's weaknesses, but it's fun and I reccomend.
I mean no offense by this, but you might as well just get gale force or something to make you tanky, all the AP you want is from your passive if you're not full AP then it's probably better to look towards the stats you won't get as time passes. If you rake in the wins don't let me stop you, but the reason cryo builds mostly tank as AD is because you don't need a lot to make on hit work, hell most of AD thresh's damage is actually magic, it's why maw is so good against it. You lose a lot of killing power, which is why I like titanic and why you'll see it in some of his games.

It's easier when you think about why someone would flame you in game, not because of what you did, but because of how much responsibility they'd want to shake off to you in game, or they've had a bad day, so you really don't need to worry too much about how you play, or other people since the same can be said about myself or yourself. If I'm tilting off a bad day, maybe I just don't play, or I keep that in mind before I start blaming people. Did I die because mid didn't ping missing, or because I was too unfocused that I didn't check the map? etc. Hard to answer you without rambling, basically just ask yourself why the things that make you mad or upset in League make you feel like that, get to the bottom of it, and kinda just stop caring so much. My experience, anyway. Sometimes the game's just not right in certain headspaces, and that's when I just don't play it.
old Aurlion sucked because he was a champ designed for only 1% of players but for the other 99% he was very very bad other than that he was fine for the four Aurilon players

One thing that I saw was that thresh's skills now scale almost like some mid laners, but if we put the souls he might actually scale better. So one of the things that usually hold mages back is that if they build death cap they must go all in for ap items. However, thresh might be able to build one defensive item with losing out(cause of souls)... So wouldn't it be better to go force of nature instead of banshee's? If you do take that route it also might be better to go rod of ages for the HP then you get passive armor plus force of nature for a bruiser with one shot capabilities.
They added in the patch notes that thresh's Q now heat seeks onto minions pretty cool if you ask me

I generally use crown, Basically so you can still follow up with you q. So crown, lich bane, zhonyas. You still do damage but you stop being 1 tapped
Also super miss A-sol already. They really just gave up trying to balance him and just removed his kit.
