I’ve never heard shelves that are bending in the middle with the word “swaying.” I’ve always said and heard sagging or drooping. It’s fun to hear how people use words differently. Thanks for sharing. 😊

Any news on the basement steps?

For added support on those shelves, you could add 't' brackets. (The flat t bracket things. I do not remember the name of them.) My sweetie did this with one of my tall cabinets in my craft room. When I got the cabinets, first, not all the parts were added, we had to go back to the store for more parts. Second, the back of the cabinet was only *cardboard*! We were like "What?!" So he added some I think masonite (melanite?) board to the back, plus put that 't' bracket on the bottom then added like a 'X' crossing on the bottom for added support as well. I've had that cabinet for 10 years now, it's never failed me since. He also added the 't' brackets (thin but strong flat metal brackets kind of thing) underneath my craft table for added support. (Also 10 years old, still standing.) Sooooo nice that your kids are such a help to your family. I wish our kids weren't so busy working so they could help us more.

I LOVE your pantry! I can never understand why people put all of it into cupboards and then you can never see what you have or what you are out of but with yours you can easily see visually when you’re out of stuff. I try to find Joy in every day and usually I find it through counting my blessings which in a lot of ways is similar to how you say you look for gratitude in each day. I’m grateful for your channel if I ever get my dream home my pantry will be similar to yours! I would absolutely LOVE to be able to create menus and cook on a daily basis in a kitchen as incredibly stocked as yours!! All those grains are incredible!!! Is that for a long term approach or are you planning on using your grains to make all of your breads and wraps all home baked in the future? I sure would love to follow you on those recipes! I looked at purchasing one of those grain mills and they are EXPENSIVE !!! But I’d love to be able to make Einkorn bread and flour because of the quality of the grain and that it’s apparently one of the only original grains that has not been messed with or genetically modified from what I understand? I’m also looking forward to seeing your results of your egg yolk cheese that you were salt drying? How long does that process take? Love hanging out with you, keep up the content!!! It’s terrific!🥰🙏🏻❤️🇨🇦

Hi Jessica and sweet family! When you have a family to feed, it takes a working pantry to make life easier. You definitely have a dream pantry. When my kids where young I had one, no where near as nice as yours, but it was functional and served it’s purpose. I had a basement and I stored my garden potatoes, onions and other vegetables in. The biggest part of the basement was my husband’s for his tractor, high lift and what he called his tinker toys till we built a large building to house his equipment and tinker toys. I hope you and your family have a blessed day!
