Dear Kassandra, this practice automatically popped up after I had completed your 10-minute beginner's practice. I have epilepsy, and I was having seizures that morning, followed by a horrible headache and I could still feel the activity in my head after the short beginner's practice. Shortly into your affirmation practice, I could feel everything soften and it seemed as if the neurons in my brain had finally stopped bouncing around. Upon completion of this practice, the headache was completely gone, and I was calm and serene and HAPPY! Another huge plus is that I didn't have any additional seizure activity that day. I feel depressed after having seizures because it's a reminder that I am not under control (and there are several medical articles about the correlation between epilepsy and depression). I now start my day with this practice followed by one of your beginner yoga practices to wake me up. Kassandra, I opened up to you because I hope that should anyone else read my story, and know someone with a neurological condition, that they share this story so it will help someone else. Thank you, Kassandra. You are truly a gift to the world, and I am grateful to have found you.

Dear Kassandra, I am a 78 year old woman with osteoporosis. My gynecologist suggested I try yoga and I came across your yin yoga for serenity. This was just what I needed today energy very erratic I am waiting for my divorce settlement at the perfect Devine time and waiting for my new home and life to be manifested and I was guided back to yoga by the Goddess Quan Yin thank you for sharing your gifts of love and light.
My favorite pose is the butterfly pose so I love this video for that 🥰 I’ve had many different yoga teachers IRL yoga classes, but felt like they taught me asanas and I did the poses and left. So I find it very curious that I can connect better with a yoga teacher remotely and went deeper into my practice, thank you for doing this work! Your yin yoga classes are how I begin my day and (sometimes) end it :)

my mantra was just to show up tomorrow yoga especially with affirmations has BECOME extremely important to me I recently went thru a 9month period where I couldn't do ANY YOGA on the floor I GRIEVED like I lost a family member when I was able to return to actual yoga practice I CRIED AND I HUGGED MY nurse practioner YOGA HAS BECOME AN INTERGAL of my way like h20 or food I have ADHD so along with rx it has helped calm the "monkey brain" as Buddhist teaching talk about I also have severe chronic pain frm a spinal cord injury yoga doesn't take away my pain but it helps with meditation calm my mind while waiting for rx to work reduce my anxiety reduce my ANGER frm being disabled disappointment im disabled and most importantly ACCEPTANRANCE THT THIS WHR I AM THIS LIFETIME I can spend it angry cooped up and hostile or get in thr and maintain wht I do have

my mantra was just to show up tomorrow yoga especially with affirmations has BECOME extremely important to me I recently went thru a 9month period where I couldn't do ANY YOGA on the floor I GRIEVED like I lost a family member when I was able to return to actual yoga practice I CRIED AND I HUGGED MY nurse practioner YOGA HAS BECOME AN INTERGAL of my way like h20 or food I have ADHD so along with rx it has helped calm the "monkey brain" as Buddhist teaching talk about I also have severe chronic pain frm a spinal cord injury yoga doesn't take away my pain but it helps with meditation calm my mind while waiting for rx to work reduce my anxiety reduce my ANGER frm being disabled disappointment im disabled and most importantly ACCEPTANRANCE THT THIS WHR I AM THIS LIFETIME I can spend it angry cooped up and hostile or get in thr and maintain wht I do have
This was especially beneficial today. The affirmationabout being kind to yourself and others because we're all doing the best we can (paraphrasing) brought it home for me.
