Skeppy Uncovers the Egg and BadBoyHalo, Antfrost & Captain Puffy Become Possessed Again (Dream SMP)

Right after this clip, Bad wants Skeppy to bond with the Egg so that he doesn’t destroy it. Thus, Skeppy is left by himself in the Statue Room with the Egg. Bad, Ant and Puffy return to the Statue Room later only to find the Egg encased completely in obsidian again and the mind control broken. However, Skeppy is now trapped inside the obsidian covered Egg. Whether this was by accident or on purpose, I am not sure.
At 1:37 Skeppy breaks a block of obsidian and uncovers the Egg.
I honestly think it was intentional. Note how Skeppy was getting frustrated and couldn't understand why they were so obssessed with it. Maybe he thought that if he encased himself with the egg, he'd understand what they like about it.

I have a theory, what if Wilbur can destroy the egg with his blue, that might be why alivebur chose to stay. Ghostbur doesn't remember obviously. It's a bit weird, but so far skeppy couldn't feel the egg skeppy is blue. Blue is the only other significant color in the series besides red

Wait here's a theory.
The statue room has more of a meaning. Bad planned to make the statue room to be used so he could make everyone in the server as statues.
Who's has direct contact in the making and hollowing out of the statue room? The badlands. It didn't have enough of an influence for Skeppy because he's been a lot busier nowadays, thus his appearance on the server is rarer. But Bad, Ant, and Puffy have been around the statue room a lot, helping hollow out the place.
Maybe the placements of the statues affects the amount of time it takes for the egg to control over someone, like a vein slowly reaching over each person. There's only one middle.

Bad himself had a very similar theory! The people who helped him mine the Statue Room all got possessed except for Ranboo.
@@Indigo-Haze ohh maybe its because ranboo canonically has short term memory... maybe it's leading to a sort of side arc to ranboo, seeing as the effect of the egg doesnt affect ranboo, a mental barrier perhaps?

We found their weakness, the only thing to do is either Sam, Dream or Someone else has to cover the egg with obsidian
There is a bit of a problem then idk if it is radius or something but as soon as they break it they can feel the egg's power again

I think the Egg is going to possess a lot of people and kick everyone else out of L'Manburg, and Dream is going to have to get Technoblade out of retirement and end Tommy's exile to help fight everyone, which leads into Season 2
This is one of the reasons why I love the Dream SMP
Since it absorbs red. And bbh has bits of red in his skin (more like on his clothing) what will happen if it absorbs Bbh red? Will bbh slowly turn into gbh?

Neither Skeppy or Tommy felt effects with the egg, not until Skeppy ended up inside it....I'm very concerned for Tommy now.
Just imagine Tommy and Techno coming back to l’manburg to destroy it all, only to find that the egg has taken over everyone and everyone in l’manburg is walking zombies... and then instead of destroying it, Tommy has to find a way to get everyone back to normal.
OMG IMAGINE IF THAT WOULD BE THE SEASON 4 PLOT THAT WOULD BE SO COOL-
So according to bad the reason the egg appeared was because they dug too deep and they uncovered it, those who spent the most time near it got infected by it, bad, ant, puffy, and ponk. Skeppy got Trapped inside the egg and he turned red, so the egg can completely control those who are near it for long periods of time. If they don't figure out how to destroy it the egg might continue spreading and turning things red. /rp

He did say that his script was active but I'm not sure if this plot specifically is part of it?
Techno hasn't really been involved with this storyline (The Egg and Blood Vines), so I would say what he's writing is completely different. It's hard to say for sure just how linked all these induvial storylines will be. It could be linked to what Techno's writing, or it might not be, we can only guess at this stage.

@@apolatyne_decova well that and im pretty aure technos script is only for things that happen to his character and possibly Philzas character. Dream Tommy and Quackity are doing the majority of the writing for the rest of the main story with input from everyone

Skeppy, Captain Puffy, and Antfrost all were possessed by the E G G and started to spread it and grow it all around the server. People tried to break the E G G, so the possessed built it an obsidian shell. The obsidian seemed to cut them off the possessed, and they began killing off the vines. Then Skeppy decided to break it, he broke the shell, and everyone was possessed again. Did that help?
