Karn was such a very underrated Locust villain. The lore behind him was so cool too!
Judgement and Karn were so underrated, I adore Karn and Shibboleth is my favorite Gears of War Creature
man thank god general Karn and Raam weren't in the same area of operations during the locust war they would have been unstoppable.
Probably the only Locust I felt bad for.

Karn is a beast not like RAAM but he is definitely underated
Small request. I know it’s covered in the lore but a recap of why the locust were torturing and harboring humans in caves underground in GoW2 would be dope! Keep up the awesome videos man.
They also did that in the early war as seen in gear’s tactics the torture pods look different though
You know looking back at it, that guy was really stupid for killing Karn instead of taking him prisoner, I mean he could've looked and been like "Yeah you clearly have info that could be useful to us" and taken him into custody but instead just shot him, I mean yeah he likely wouldn't of talked but still it's at least worth the attempt so they know what their dealing with

@thesoicybroadcast9384 yeah I mean I get was for the sake of the message "war is cruelty" but that doesn't really mean much, a stupid is a stupid move, he was a general, they had little information about the locust, it felt like a very missed opportunity even if he doesn't end up talking
I would like to see Corpsers return or some form of creature that replaces the Corpser.
There wouldn't be a need tbh, the closest resembling cast like a Corpser would be the Snatcher. Those are the main creature used to capture, and use Seran's

This has nothing to do with the lore of Karn. Great video tho. But I wish Gears multiplayer was more COG vs Locust based. By that I mean I wish the locusts online weren't just skins. I wish in multiplayer you could play as a Boomer, Grinder, Armored Kantus, Bloodmount Rider, ya know the horde.. so that online was more based around that than just simple shotgun lancer PVP. Have the humans holding a spot down while the locusts invade. Basically Horde Combined with Beast Mode.. that would make the game more enjoyable to me. Of course still have the standard team deathmatch stuff but I want my battles online to match the story more..
Facts! They should bring Overrun back but an upgrade and more advanced version, that would be so cool to see

Wait, I never knew that Judgement took place just weeks after E-Day. Just how fast did the COG make the Lancer Mk. 2s?
In the lore I think that they made it ether 6 months or 2 years after E day but the developers added it in even though it shouldn’t have existed yet because they didn’t want to make the fans mad by removing the most iconic weapon from the franchise (also I think they didn’t remove it because most casual fans probably don’t know that the cog didn’t event the Mk.2 lancer until a long time after E day).

@@edwardturner5075 No but he did give Marcus the idea when he cut a drone in half with a power saw so Marcus asked his dad to put a chainsaw on the lancer and to upgrade the base design as well.

My theory is that shibboleth probably dug underground far enough to avoid the blast. He probably knew it was coming too since the cog also used the missile on gorosnya.

The locust lore is cool and all but I'd like you to cover other things on the channel like unused concept art from gears of war franchise, a video of how you would've done gears of war's second trilogy, Your casting and story for a potential gears of war movie, hidden Easter eggs in gears of war franchise and/or Your thoughts on the Gears of war card game that's launching pretty soon. Just some ideas to give you for a gears of war video.
Karn is the off brand Elite in Gears of War.

I had a chuckle when looking at the panel of the comic where Raam and Karn were having rockworm stew with their men.
Just seeing the shenanigans that the drones got into made them feel so alive. It was nice to see something as real as that.

I don’t have high hopes for the live action movie because it will probably just be a repeat of the Halo show but I think that the animated series that I heard about will probably be a surprise hit like Arcane or Cyberpunk Edgerunners.
I personally think they should just animate it tbh that way they ain't gotta worry about what actor or actress looks like certain characters but hey who knows

I really like Karn, and I'm sad we saw so little of him, but I still don't see the logic in starting a war when you're already busy losing another one in progress.
