  • We recently spent three days in Williamsburg Virginia. This was our second day visiting Historic Jamestowne and the Yorktown waterfront. Stay tuned for day three touring Yorktown National Battlefield and check out day one where we visited Colonial Williamsburg.
This was our second trip to the Williamsburg area at Christmas time and love the lack of crowds while having everything beautifully decorated. We hope you enjoy the look around the area and please subscribe if you would like to see day three.
Thanks for watching - we truly appreciate it!

Love history, haven’t been to these places since I was a kid. This video makes me want to go back.

It was a great trip - so much to see in the area. We could easily spend a week and not do anything twice. Thanks for watching!

We loved Anvil campground, even though the tent sites (which we were in) are immediately by the railway line! That whole area is fantastic for history buffs, and for Brits like me, it gave me a better understanding of how (and why) America evolved from over the last couple of centuries or so.

Oh! Those tent spots are very close! Can imagine the rumbling is definitely something haha. Agree - great area for history buffs - so much to see! Glad you enjoyed your time there and thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching! It is one of our favorite areas to visit as within an easy day's drive for us. It is so pretty at Christmas time so hoping to get back up to the area one year in the spring. Safe travels!

I'd rather learn more about the history of Williamsburg, Virginia (1699-1780) better than Jamestown, Virginia (1607-99) in my personal opinion.

There is definitely a lot of history in Williamsburg that we did not explore on this trip. It is on our list to return sometime this year and explore more of the actual town. We did visit Colonial Williamsburg but we also learned about so many places to visit that we just didn’t have time for. Thanks for watching!
