@Shawn You mean that guy Kyrgios who still hasn't made a masters final or been to the semis of one grand slam? Oh yeah that guy who is still lowly ranked. Just can't wait for his return lol. Last year he skipped the whole clay court season cos he knows without his serve he is nothing. He then said he couldn't wait for the grass court season so he could "do some damage." He won 2 matches from 3 tournaments lmfao. The guy is a first class fucking LOSER!!!!

The ''anticipation'' thing is overrated. He played way behind the baseline and rarely run around the backhand,on top of that he was very fast.He had more time to react than aggressive players like Federer who took more risks .
A guy like mcEnroe had excellent anticipation skills,Murray was more like a dog who retrieved everything.

After watching this people must agree that he is a special player. Yes he is not at the level of the big 3 because they are more like from a different planet altogether but this guy is more human like other players but he still got the better of the big 3 on multiple occasions and the only one to reach the top of the mountain the world No.1 rank. You got to give him credit for that. Had he played in any other era he would have won many more slams. If he hadn't had that hip injury in 2017 he would have won 3-4 slams easily. He was in his peak when he got that injury. It's a miracle that he is still competing out there with a metal hip. I was never a murray fan but he won me over during all these years. He is a great fighter and a legend of this game. Hopefully he gets some respect from the rival fans too.

    More Murray please!
He's the biggest fighter in tennis, to achieve what he did against the other three. Also, he was the only player outside of the other three that had a monumental home GrandSlam mountain to climb. And we Scots are not renowned for playing tennis. Wimbledon 2013 was a Jamaican Bobsleigh moment for us Scots. That last game against Djokovic was the most thrilling, nailbiting experience of our lifes. Therefore, I wouldn't swap that precious summer's day for any of the other three's incredible achievements. 2013 Wimbledon was one of the greatest, most historical moments, in tennis history. For me anyway.

It's funny, I actually think this video proves the opposite about Murray's "anticipation", despite the title and all the comments. People always say it's an "underrated" aspect of his game, but I would say it's very overrated.
I've played tennis competitively for ~20 years, and there isn't a single instance in this video where I see someone reading the game at a level you'd expect from the majority of top 100 professionals. I just see him sprinting to the open court, split step when he has time, one nice fake at the net then cover the other side.
I'm not trying to minimize what in this video at all though. It's not his anticipation, but his shotmaking ability on defense that is truly mindblowing in almost every single one of these points. With Murray I always found myself shocked, wondering, "how the hell did he get to that" (6'4 athlete but still one of the best first steps, top speed, and balance ever to grace tennis) or "how the hell did he come up with that shot at full sprint or a pure reflex shot from a defensive position" (his pure tennis talent).
Really, watch these points. So many of them are him just sprinting to the open court. What's truly special, and he's in my opinion clearly the best ever at this, is his shotmaking ability when stretched on defense. Djokovic is arguably the better defender overall, not from shotmaking though, but his ridiculous rally tolerance while defending, somehow contorting his body and giving up no ground on the baseline while continuing the rally in situations where every other player would cede an advantage to the opponent.
