    Zverev´s second serve, Tomic´s fighting spirit, Johnson´s backhand, Kyrgios´s ability to keep a bottle in his hand and going to the toilet without demolishing rackets and Troicki´s good relationship to the referees, I guess. Oh, I forgot Kokkinakis ability to bang Wawrinka´s girlfriend, I´m sorry to tell you that, mate.

    the precision with which roger plays his shots is very beautiful. those hand skills are the reason that he maintained his stature at this age because he does not seem to overhit the shots or run extra yards, instead he manipulates the game and hits with just the force required.

    • @pajarosnaranja
      @pajarosnaranja 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @Feed me a hammer and I will crap out nails. True, that's why I wrote that he's better known for his lob than his anticipation, not that his anticipation or hand skills aren't impressive, if you actually read my comment.

      @pajarosnaranja 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @Feed me a hammer and I will crap out nails. You didn't understand what I wrote, I said that I agree with you on that. I have seen Murray play in person in 2 tournaments, and a lot of times on TV, I know well his game. But the fact that he's known more for his lob than for his skill is undeniable. And this doesn't mean that the only good shot he has is his lob and anything else is crap, just that he's famous for his lob, and that's a fact. Djokovic is famous for his return and flexibility, but his backhand is great, and he's not often credited for that. Same thing for Nadal, he's known for his mental, his forehand and his dominance on clay, but he has lot of other great skills that aren't often recognised. That been said, I would have preferred that on this video the tennis skill of Murray was his lob rather than his anticipation, and that doesn't mean that I don't recognise his skill.

      @@benedictly1571 it's not that djokovic is bad, just that in terms of pure talent Murray edges out Novak. He's probably third after Roger and Rafa. But Djokovic has trained his body to out-slug Nadal himself so it's hard to beat that and his defense is impregnable when he's feeling it. Djokovic's game is built to win matches.

    @TennisTV For me, Murray’s greatest moment of anticipation came at the World Tour Finals (2016?) against Nishikori. Down set point in the first set tiebreak, he played a really poor lob but guessed right to be able to return the backhand drive volley from Kei. That was a total steal!

    In my opinion, Djokovic's mental strength is more than just a superhuman ability. It's insane how he manages to do what he does with all the crowd against him at the biggest stages of the game. But it's not really a skill so they might've not included it in this video. But overall nothing in the history of this game is as unbreakable as Djokovic's mental strength.

      To beat Nole, you need to hit hard and flat like Thiem and Wawrinka do. But sometimes you also need mental strength to beat him too. And De Minaur doesn't any of these factors.

The second half of 2020 was a complete disaster (save for Rome title...but who gives a crap about freaking Rome, when he failed to win both USO and RG, when he truly had a chance! At least USO! Not to mention anticlimactic end of the season at the ATP finals...after which Nadal and not Nole was nominated for Sportsman Of The Year! 2020 was a disaster, which i want to forget! PR disaster that Nole went through affected his performance as well! From disqualification and feud with ATP officials over new organization body formation to Covid debacle during Adria Tour...The Whole year was a mess except for AO title (But that is like pet slam for Novak, so it's except he should win that one...)

So far his performances were ok, but not that great...let's hope things improve by the time RG arrives, otherwise...I just hope he can add 2 of the 3 remainnig grand slam to his tally at very least (better yet win all 4 by beating Nadal! But those are just dreams...i just hope he can win Wimbledon and USO back-toback this year!...) I have a bad feeling Nadal will make it 21 and breaks Federer's record first...again i blame year 2020! @@Summon256 US open was biggest heartbreak tbh, in rome you can't really say anything because nadal just got into a god zone in 3rd set and you never know that these two again clash in Roland garros and this time nole goes into beast mode which is always the case when the big 3 clashes, the winner plays outstanding tennis. but somehow i have a feeling that nadal will not win this time(although i am an equally big fan of rafa).
