When did we decide that we only needed one try for everything? Back when I skated in the 90s this kind of stuff would have been part of the year and everything in slowmo. I chip in a decade and change later and tricks I've never seen are nailed in a 7 trick line first try, before lunch. Wtf?!

I like the introduction of Olympics into skateboarding because, people do not understand what power does the title "Olympian" hold, and and what values does it represent. These kids believe that masses will know and recognise their names from the start and that's not how it works. An Olympian is a person ho embraces their country, their city, their sports club/hub, their trainer and his/her peers, all of that forms an incredible bond that goes behind what you see in television. I really wish to see that understanding come to skateboarders all over the world.
