Cut Niyak Dhien - The Change Makers

Cut Niyak Dhien a young Muslim woman became one of Indonesia’s national heroes, when she chose to defend her people from the Dutch Invasion. Indonesia was occupied by the Dutch for 350 years. Cut Niyak experienced loss of her father and her husband due to the invasion, motivating her further to join the resistance. Her courage and belief in Allah kept her going in difficult circumstances making her a perfect example of a change maker!
