Al Jazzari - The Change Makers
Al-Jazzari was a mechanical engineer from the small town of Cizre in Turkey. He laid the foundations for the industrial revolution in Europe and the most important part of modern civilisation.
Most of Europe’s greatest achievements in the world of engineering can be attributed to Al Jazzari - and because of that he is known as the father of mechanical engineering . In fact, Leonardo Da Vinci, an Italian scientist, was inspired by Al-Jazari’s work and used it in his inventions.

Women of Islamic Andalusia seem to have enjoyed greater degrees of personal freedom and public expression than their counterparts in the eastern Islamic world. Several learned, accomplished women are attested from this place and time, the most famous being perhaps the Umayyad princess Wallada, who lived in the eleventh century, some one hundred years after the life of Lubna. It is certainly fascinating to recover some glimpses of these important cultural agents and their world.

What a crock of revisionist history. The University of Bologna (Università di Bologna), Italy, which was founded in 1088, is the first university in the sense of: being a high degree-awarding institute. It promoted freedom not forced, militant Islam on it's students. This video is nothing but propaganda.

No, that's not possible as Islam is only 1400 yr old. In India there are few universities like Nalanda or Taxacila University and few others which no longer operates are roughly 3000 yr old. These are mostly Hindu or Buddhist universities. There might be other universities which are older than these. Thats what I am searching for
