- I bought some aluminum diamond plate door panels from lowrange and I install them on my 1987 suzuki samurai. very easy affordable solution to stock door panels that are not water resistant.
Awesome..how do you keep them that shinny?
I really don't know I haven't been doing anything to keep them shiny. and after a few years they don't really shine as much but they still look good.
Where you buy plastic thing for door and bolts too mounted the panel ☺

Good morning. After running these for a while, how are they holding up? Do they rattle, would you recommend painting them with a matte finish? I am working on a 1988 Samurai Tin Top right now.
They are holding up fine. I only drive mine off-road so I don't drive my samurai alot. but so far they look a little faded, but I get mud and sand all over them. They do not rattle the way they are screwed in they fit tight. They are solid aluminum so they will be way more durable than stock panels especially if you get them wet. As far as painting them a matte color. I think it would look cool, but I don't really know how to paint aluminum like this. I'm not really a big fan of bright shiny stuff on my samurai, but I still like them the way they are. but honestly I would like them better if they were flat black or dark grey.
