Bunker Hill Mine Restart Progress: Russell Portal Time-lapse

The Bunker Hill Mine is a historic produce of silver, lead and zinc. In 2020, a new, on-site management team began in earnest the process of restarting mining operations. In August and September of 2023, a new portal was installed in place of the historic Russell portal. This time-lapse film showed the daily progress made throughout the process of excavating and removing the historic workings, as well as the installation of a new, bigger portal that will allow for the ease of access required for modern mining equipment.
