- Nike Superfly 1 remake review - Nike have brought back the Mercurial Superfly 1 football boots on the Nike Mercurial Vapor 13, and in today's video, JayMike takes the new Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 Superfly 1 Future DNA football boots onto the pitch to give you guys the verdict on the redesign and remake of the original Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly 1 from 2009.

In classic Unisport review fashion, we will take a look at the performance, fit and feel in our latest Nike Mercurial Superfly 1 play test of the Nike FUTURE DNA remake of the iconinc design, which was worn by Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009 when he scored THAT goal against FC Porto in the Champions League.
The Nike Mercurial Superfly 1 was revolutionary in many ways, as it introduced Flywire, which is thin vectran fibre threads that would close in around the foot like a seatbelt to provide lockdown - and in today's review of the Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 FUTURE DNA football boots can offer the same solid lockdown, but with a much softer upper than the original 2009 Nike Mercurial Superfly 1, which was stiff and actually ripped on a few occasions. This also means that Nike actually had to pull the original Superfly 1 back in the day, as the launch colourway of the football boots never launched to the public. The good thing is that the Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 FUTURE DNA football boots is a much better football boot, and in our review of the Superfly 1 remake you can hear JayMike's thoughts as he wears the Superfly 1 remake in a classic Unisport play test.

These boots are insane!😍 The old ones were so beautiful! I never had the super fly ones, just because of the blister and that Superfly back then we’re really uncomfortable! So I had the Mercurial Vapor non superfly ones and they were the best boots I ever had!😍👏🔥

I remember i bought the all black and yellow superflys that came after and honestly my favorite boots ever
I wish they had the black ones. I had them in a cheap version as a kid obviously, but the black and yellow tick ones were so nice!

When these released they were the first mercurials My parents bought me. They weren’t the superflys because I was too young so they didn’t make them in my size and they were also very overpriced. Anyways I was very happy and thankful my parents bought them for me because they were so sick. So glad they remade these, I copped a pair today.
Had the light blue colorway of the superfly 1. One of my favorite boots ever once I broke them in. New vapors are good and for sure more comfortable, but I’d trade the extra comfort any day for a synthetic upper and a carbon fiber sole plate.
I’ve never had an issue with the durability of carbon fiber on my mercurials personally also think it looks way cooler and I enjoyed the stiffness of it for shooting

Unbelievable looking boots - I remember when I was a kid, buying this colourway on a take down model in Liverpool’s flagship store, here in the U.K. and in the store they had it all decked out as it was the launch party. Remember when I got them thinking these are timeless, and now look at them 😍 a great video Jay, I REALLY need to get my hands on these one day 💯
Yep, it's a classic isn't it. Hell, even the take-downs looked pretty good in the launch colourway. I think the Vapor 13 silhouette is just a perfect match for the Superfly 1 design, so it's a great execution here.
Oh and I probably don't need to tell you but they're flying fast so hurry up if you want them!
