    Thank you so much.
    I am looking forward to hearing more of this series. I can only imagine the time and efforts that went into this study of church history. 🙏💞

    Wow... Very enlightening as a Christian to hear this. That this is what happens after our Christ gave his life for all.😢

    When I taught Music for years, many students, especially K-3rd grade didn't realize that there were thousands of years before 1 AD. I often also pointed out that there were only about 5,000 years BC of recorded history (as many of the reading books in school teach "millions of years ago" starting with Kindergarten.) The question is, "Who are the companies printing all these books..." They used to have McGuffeys Readers which had poems and religious stories. I have a third grade and fifth grade copy.

    Great summary! The whole was excellent. The Tacitus reading was interesting, our Christus, will continue to change the cosmos, this order of things.

    BCE=Before Common Era
    BC=Before Christ
    Before Common Era does not equal Before Christ. BC references time and our calendar to the creator of time. BCE is a man made reference for time. What is a common era?

    I thought the 1st year was off from Jesus' birth because the Romans actually based the calendar on Caesar

    The primary source for Jesus is the whole Bible, not merely Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. There are many Jewish people now who believe Jesus is the messiah and the first Christians were all Jews.

    I have a feeling this won't include how the early church had no churches like today and there was no worship or service or temple...

      Yes, the Catholic Church was Trinitarian. Arianism is not Trinitarian.

      "catholic" simply means universal....today there are well over 24 denominations of "Catholicism" claiming the *_exact same first 4 centuries_* they all include the teaching and traditions of men above and at the expense of the teachings of the Bible, and these include the the Roman, Coptic, Greek, Russian, Orthodox, Macedonian, Eritrean, Ethiopian, Armenian, Belarusian, Bulgarian... etc etc... pick your priesthood, pick your poison doctrine of men...
      Jesus, on the other hand, left us with ONE set of Scriptures, He defined His disciples as those who continue in *_HIS WORD_* and who know the truth BASED on His Word (John 8:31-32) and are recognized as His disciples "by their love one for another" (John 13:35)....
      so, as Jesus said "But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. " (John 10:26-28)
      You can follow the teachings/ traditions of men or the Word of God. They are mutually exclusive.
      "This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me and in vain they worship Me,
      Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men..." ~Jesus (Mark 7:7-8)
