this video exactly explains why I stopped playing chogath, it just felt like no matter how fed i got i just couldn't win games even with all my damage and turret gold, with all my 3 cc's i just couldn't kill certain champs as they dash/flash away and these videos make me want to play chogath again but they just keep adding more max health damage to every champion and item, that besides Mundo HP tanks are so bad.

I’ll play him again if they give him a small buff like just a flat +20 mana or if vayne ever gets nerfed.
Cho is so well designed man, feels so good to play. I used to main Cho top when my roomate and I played league religiously like 8 years ago. The kit still hasn't changed, even with all the updates and reworks. A true 200 years champ. His kit perfectly captures the feeling of being an alien invader out to devour all life and grow stronk. Just walking around as a gigantic, stacked up monster is almost as satisfying as om-nom-noming your opponents. Chef's kiss, one of the few perfect champs in this game.
tho technically riven is not expanding her lead because she didn't have a lead. It's just alois team is hard trolling and letting riven to push for free.
Yeah he seems to be Top 10 in AD still, base AD is 69 and AD growth is 4.2 for a final AD of 140 (atleast according to the wiki which could be outdated), characters such as Garen and Darius outscale him on final AD but the difference is negligible, only around 5-10 points
9:35 I think the logic behind trinity force is that it makes chasing as cho gath less clunky: attack speed to improve E auto and phage movement speed passive to improve sticking potential, and most of the stats are pretty useful for cho gath

As soon as I saw you were building trinity I went to the wiki to check Cho's base AD. It's actually quite high! Darius, how likes spellblade bc of his high base ad, has 298 base ad @ 18. Cho has 280. That's actually quite good, + the %max health dmg on E

As Cho'Gath main I want to make some explanations. If you are new to this champion and you don't know any limits it can be ended that you will stay under your second turret with 0/6 score and without Warmog. And Cho is very team dependent champion, because you can't make splitpush plays as Tryndamere or Fiora or Mundo or Riven. Enemy can kill you and chase you simply, but your carry in teamfights will win easly if you will defend them from assasins and other threats. So it's better to let your jungler or midlaner to fight against splitpush because you don't have any potential in this. I strongly recommend defense build because you have all damage that you need. Cho'gath can't win game on his own. He is good only with team and invulnerable if your team can think and use your control for space and damage in teamfights.
I've been using HoB Cho on all of my games lately and how fast E comes out at early trades is really good. People get caught off guard on how much damage he deals. I've also been adding atleast a Cosmic Drive on my tank builds to have an extra ms to catch up to fast enemies and damn.. it's kinda good for him. Still theorcycrafting if its really that effective and I'm not sure if its a good pick for 1st or 2nd-3rd item.
When i first started playing back in season 3 cho and ww were the champs i picked up. Once in a blue moon ill pick up the ole Cho gath Magrath. Ive been building Rod of ages and rocketbelt the last few days with maybe a sunfirecape or liandrys or something to great success. I have tons of hp and do respectable dmg with a little dash thrown in there. Maybe to optimize build here we could go for Rod of ages, situational boots, tri force, sunfire cape, rocketbelt/titanic hydra/ mr item idk. Hes pretty fun
It depends on the champ and gamestate, theres no concrete value. An early game flash could be a kill and a couple waves worth of gold + xp. Late game a flash could be worth not just gold, but the whole game.
Trinity has always been a sleeper item on cho. Cho works well with all its stats except maybe ad. Movement speed is great. Auto speed is a nice bonus. Cho has great base ad so uses the sheen well.
I miss old Zephyr, you can find videos on youtube of "The Legend of Zephyr Cho" Get tabi's, Zephyr (gave you the same tenacity as treads) and then you could basically build whatever you wanted after that because you were unstoppable those were the days.

Alois, you should try not leveling W in lane, that spell just eats mana and locks you in animation so you cant extend trades while points in E and Q got so buffed its easy to get wave control with just those 2 and you are not forced to take D ring since they are less mana dependent.

Also, the attack speed is very useful so you can get your e stacks off faster, like a Shen would need attack speed to get off q faster. Edit edit: only issue with this build is that you’re gigantic so you can’t dodge anything, but you have no resistances. If you built a Frozen Heart or Thornmail you would’ve been able to survive the double BoRK more easily. You notice that the person who you got the build from goes Kaenic or Armor 3rd, which will help you survive long enough to eat people.
Honestly with champs like Cho you can't be playing to win, you just have to have fun growing ever more massive and eventually one shotting towers and ADCs. But it's so nice to get all that MS from warmogs and free boots, cuz without ms it's so insufferable to try and get something done on a tank build.
the spellblade dmg doesnt seem to be crazy. If attack speed is what makes it poweful wouldnt stridebreaker be better? makes you easier to hit Q as well

unironically the threshhold for warmogs passive should be moved to like 2-2.5k bonus health, that shit shouldn't be viable in lane, removes the whole trading aspect

think I hate about warmogs is that it's so super squishy. I always get oneshot by tanks with jaksho's or adc's with jaksho. Especially on immobaile mundo's & chogaths. Imagine doing this vs lucian with blotrk jaksho spirit visage terminus... x.x Luckily I only see these builds on challenger top tank adc's though.
