So crazy how you can visit past scenes in Umineko and view them in a totally different light. For me the first time I heard this song it was really hype and climactic. The developments at the end of ep 4 raised so many questions for me and I was really excited to continue reading. I was oblivious to what was really going on and what was going trough Beatrice's mind just like Battler. Now with recontextualization this song and the scene it's played in are filled with despair and sadness. I can't even begin to describe what pain Beato must have felt in that moment. Without love it cannot be seen. Absolute genius.
