if we are considering quality and mantainance of roads yes rwanda roads are best and better by far other roads in east africa .very hard to find potholes damaged roads and nearly every part of country is nearly covered with this quality roads not only in cities like in kenya and tanzania,uganda etc

Interstate road network in Nigeria are in such a dilapidated condition that I almost shed tears knowing that those were the roads on which food are transported interstate. They're so bad that you couldn't travel from one state to another without seeing a stranded struck on the road because of very horrible road conditions. Some of them are not paved. Traveling interstate will take you about twice the time. It was the biggest shock yet about the state of the Nigerian infrastructure. I have learnt to pay a driver to transport my car to whatever state I'm traveling, then fly over to meet them at my destination
