Wow - love her outlook on life and people. Very inspiring to me - I am struggling to raise my child vegan. I fell most days, but I keep trying. Thank you for this video. Wow. Powerful.
Great that you are trying to raise your child vegan! I have vegan kids and my husband and I are vegan. What is your biggest challenge? Or your top 3 challenges with it? Maybe I can help!
@@jessicaveganjessica2208 Thank you! I'd say my biggest challenge is ensuring my child is getting the caloric intake + she's a picky eater, so most of the time she only wants, of course what she knows...the SAD. I am also nervous about the B supplementation. Due to her allergies, which are the top 9 allergens, she's had bad reactions to supplements...
Vegan forever. ❤🙏I sleep much better ,have more energy and I also feel I can think more clearly about everything around me . I think more people would easily remove the animal products from their diet if they watched a few documentaries on animal agriculture.
Very inspiring interview. I too love Joel Fuhrman - he is such a plain no nonsense speaker! Also I am finding the 100% 'all in' attitude she speaks of here is the easiest to maintain personally, both with nutrition and fitness (1-2-3 do it!!), and even those infrequent treats, a medjool date with dark chocolate, the ultimate treat, or a fresh fruit plate. When those things appeal much more than cake or processed stuff you know your microbiome is good!!!
We are vegan. My 2.5 year old started to get a cold last week. A little bit of coughing and some congestion. Her cold was gone in a few days. She was barely bothered by it. Running around and playing the whole time. I fully believe our diet has a huge part to play in her recovery. This was probably the only time she got sick this year.
It's such a difficult situation, raising children in a world that is so unaware of the negative behavior they partake in and spread around, believing that since it's normal it's good. I do believe change for the better is slowly happening, though, despite all the backlash.
Same here. I kept nagging my.wife to stop consuming cow milk which was the only thing stopping her from going fully vegan as she has it in milk. I just kept showing her TH-cam videos of horrible dairy footage and finally she uses oat.milk now and it tastes much better than cow milk so win win. She also makes her own soy yoghurt which we use for soups etc. As for kids, my daughter's are vegan and very healthy. They never miss school. Only issue is going parties etc. I feel once people shift their mindset of plant foods and just look at the facts, it's easy. Eating fruit veg nuts seeds beans legumes mushrooms and onions is easy.
@@thomassaddul The RDA is for alpha linolenic acid, 1.6 g. She eats plenty of seeds and nuts and probably plenty of greens and other things that have ALA. You're out of here Lane here brother. I've looked very deep into this topic. I have a talk on my channel about fatty acids that's like 6 years old that will school you up.
@VeganLinked False. You can get only DHA and EPA from meat and fish. ALA is not DHA or EPA though can be converted but to a very LOW level. Nothing beats tge bioavailability of these in meat and fish. Moreover, seeds have plenty of Antinutrients, Fiber and Carbs which are bad. This is the reason too many vegans die early or cant sustain being malnourished both body and brain.
Having 7 children could be very depleting of fatty acids though. Guess where fish get fatty acids, algae. An algal supplement would be totally appropriate if someone didn't to depend on getting enough from their diet. It's interesting how you haven't thought about the obvious, perhaps it doesn't fit your narrative but the overwhelming majority of people with dementia actually eat meat... go figure. Must be the excess sulfur containing amino acids from all that putrefying flesh synthesizing into amyloid plaques on their death based, inflammatory diet.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL ROOM! I’m only 2seconds into this video and I’m thinking….How fun it would be to hang out there! 🎉
I thought the same thing! All those big windows and white walls. :)
Thanks so much for another beautiful interview. I think it would be amazing if one day she had the interest to write a book to share her knowledge.

At this point, I feel bad for her husband that he's not vegan. How can you be married to this person and not be vegan?
@@unveganzombie no doubt! There's so much I could say about this... I may save it for a pinned comment.

She should get the meat eating gym loving boys to watch GAME CHANGERS.👍🏼
Awesome with a capital A
"BlueZone" family!
Thats why i couldnt date a non vegan
yep! and just one of the reasons
Soon dementia takes her earlier than expected. You need DHA and EPA from meat or fish

@@VeganLinked Foolishness. Eat the fish that eat the algae. Eat the cow that eat the grass. Your stomach cannot digest fiber.
