    Awesome review. The large LCD screen is powered by a powerful and homogeneous COB light source. Unlike a matrix light source, the power-hitting of the resin is much more uniform. This leads to better printing results. I also like whale3e and use it well.

    First of all thanks for all the amazing reviews and detailed videos. If possible, could you please consider making a video with tips to print flat surfaces or geometric accurate objects? Unfortunately it is really hard to find good information related to this topic since most of the youtubers focus on miniatures where precision is not exactly needed.

      @wangdennys  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I will slowly get there. There are several more steps i need to make tutorial first before get into accurate geometric.

    Great, thorough review! The printer feet are adjustable by the way, all you have to do is screw or unscrew them so you can level the printer so the resin is even.
    I see yours has the plastic FEP frame...
    The Nova3D Whale3 SE is one of the best printers available, for sure. That steadiness is top-notch for all kinds of prints.
    Nova3D came out with the Whale3 Super (flip top) and Whale3 Ultra (Flip-top, filtration and heater), maybe you can review those, too! 😉

    Another great video Mr Dennys. Even though i dont own this printer just watching how you work through things and explain things helps me to pick up more knowledge for my own Printer!!! Mini 8KS. It is working great. Set it to 1.3 Exposure as we discussed.
    I have one request if i could ask a favor.
    Can you do a good video on how to Maintain and service a printer to keep it running in tip top shape? I think it would be helpfull to all your subscribers and even to me since I am a new printer owner.
    For example, when do you grease or lube the Z axis rail? How often and how many hours of use should you then grease it? Where do you put the lubrication...exactly what spots.
    When do you apply oil or grease to the motor "spindle" or "worm gear" of the Z axis? Same thing...how many hours and where do you drop the oil/grease?
    What type of oil and grease?
    How can we tell if our Motors to our machines are running good or if they are getting weaker or worn out?
    Stuff like this. I dont think anyone doing TH-cam has put together a good "How to Maintain your Printer" video.
    Thank you sir for your consideration

    You were losing about four hundredths of a mm on that dial gauge with every step, and you called that good?

    • @wangdennys
      @wangdennys  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It returns to 0 and that is good for me.
      Proven by the print result all parts connection match very well.

    • @retromodernart4426
      @retromodernart4426 ปีที่แล้ว

      Looks like you don't understand what was being measured here, or how a resin printer is supposed to work - if you can understand that 0.04mm is exactly four-hundredths of a mm, and that the layer height on this printer is 0.05mm by default, maybe you can figure out that simple and precise movement step accuracy that's extremely obvious in finished detail prints, objectively and relative to other consumer 3D resin printers...
      Maybe your eye was off by about a hundredth of a millimeter...
